Question Anyone else been feeling like this?/ tips or knowledge you may have?

So, I’ve been stripping since late January of this year (201 and I do like my job so far. When the money is good, it’s good; when th money is bad , it’s real bad.
I don’t have anyone else I can talk to about this.
My family knows what I do and are supportive but, I feel embarrassed and ashamed when I try my hardest and come up with near $30 and sometimes next to nothing after tip out and house fees... I know, I know, it’s something, right? But it does hurt , I can’t lie. I’ve cried more than a few times over it.

Especially, when i give it my all on stage / go up to every client in the house and get (politely ) rejected. Rejection is part of the job, we’re not all everyone’s type, etc etc.

I guess this is a long-winded way of asking successful or veteran dancers how I can be better? A month ago I wouldn’t even approach people at all! Now I do pursue where I feel I’ll be visually appreciated.
I’ll mostly start with “Do you mind if I join you?” Or “Would you like some company ?” 9/10 I’ll be rejected though. Many customers have no problems complimenting my appearance though.. which I find strange.

I’m deifinetly open to new techniques and tricks. If you have anything you feel you can help me with, feel free to comment or DM me!

First, don't ask permission to sit down. Just sit down and introduce yourself. Second, what club and city are you in? If you're having a lot of nights where you're not making money, it may be that the club you're at isn't a good fit for you.

I’m in San Antonio. Our city isn’t full nude; only topless.
I guess it’s worth mentioning I don’t go topless on stage.

Yeah, I’m applying at a new club and maybe I’ll be better there? ^^

Alright , I’ll try just sitting down. But don’t you think it’s just stalling the rejection ?
I thought of it as if they’re interested, they’ll say to join them.

You don't need permission to talk to these wallets. Like the other girl said come up to them and start talking to them and eventually or quickly try and close the sale. I don't know if your club is a fast easy hustle or people expect to talk ages for you to close small ticket sales (lapdances) etc.

It could be you're in a club that is a bad fit for you or there just isn't a lot of money to go around for everyone. I can't really say. Sometimes switching clubs helps.

Also read hustle hut or start googling whatever issue and add stripperweb to the search phrase if you need specific help. Most questions have already been answered.

Also it helps to "detach" idk how to explain. Like drop your give a fuck. I mean really. Granted I did call some dumbass customer a "fucking retard" to his face tonight lol so I haven't yet mastered the art of completely not giving a fuck! Hahaha

Always assume the sale. If you're projecting (even subconsciously) an attitude that you're expecting rejection you're going to get rejected.

Many customers who seemed uninterested off the bat and maybe would have said they didn't want company when you asked might actually be down for dances after a few minutes of chatting.

Approach everyone. The worst thing that happens is they say no, if they turn out to be an asshat you just get up and leave. You're probably missing out on sales from guys who you don't feel "visually appreciate". There's been many times where guys who I thought were completely disinterested paid for long vips.

Start to learn how to "profile" your most ideal customers, versus trying to talk up every guy all the time.

Over time you will have a subconscious sense of who to approach and how.

Also ask for/mention tipping on top of dance payment. A lot of guys will tip.
