Everyone is so different which is exactly why all different shapes, sizes, color do well! I think what really stands out to me is seeing the confidence in each woman, even if its fake. Anyone from a 400 pound lady to skinny emo girls rock their look. Thats what pulls me in personally. The personality and confidence. I may not necessarily be attracted to her but most cam models offer something more than just their looks![]()

have you seen the challenge threads, not many around here have their phots but many post their results of what goals they are working on.
So not sure what you are looking for, but if you want to make money with webcam, you have to get online and work. it's about results , not really about appearance.

@Phatgirldyno, I've been approved! I have the flu and I'm pretty sure the guys would rather not see me sneezing and coughing my first few times on lmao
@Marina as far as conventionally attractive, I realize that subject is controversial in and of itself. I've lurked and even posted about random stuff (because it just seems like a great community tbh), before I even decided to pull through and one time noticed some girls were saying that if you're BLACK- point blank period, then you are not conventionally attractive- I disagree. To me, it's just... idk how to explain... just, I really don't know how to explain lol. I guess just the type of girl when somebody looks at you, their first thought isn't "she's pretty/cute/beautiful/sexy/probably be getting it/whatever. Somebody that you wouldn't pick out as an "attractive" person if asked to pick from a crowd. I'm REEEAAALLLLLLY trying not to use the "ugly" word, because that word is, well, ugly. It's violently degrading asf, a person can be ugly but still completely confident within themselves to the point they do not feel ugly either, so it's just not a good term to use. Both degrading and unhelpful. Trying to think of better ways of explaining it, but I guess yeah, what I already said about if a random person was asked to pick an attractive person from a crowd, odds are a conventionally unattractive person would NOT be picked.

Doing your hair, makeup, and clothes well can go a long way. Camera angles can do a lot.
I don't think you're going to get a solid answer here... camming is different for everyone. It doesn't matter what everyone else is making, it matters what YOU make. I agree with Minnie that you should check out the challenge threads to see what people are earning. No matter what you look like, there is a lot of $ out there for the taking.

I find it subjective not controversial because one man's ugly is another man's beautiful. You can be conventionally attractive, physically perfect and still be stale as white bread. Attractive people are a dime a dozen, it's not a rarity.
To say that black is not conventionally attractive is totally false and baseless. Ugly comes in every race. I guess those girls that made that comment are not sex workers so they believe what society feeds them that only white, thin are attractive. I strongly believe that all girls should do sex work for a week so it can open their eyes to what men are into because the majority of vanilla girls believe men are only into things that are beautiful, skinny, normal.
This is kind of a hard question to answer, but I'm stoned and I'll try. A lot more people had problems with me when I was stripping, for whatever reasons. With camming, I tend to do quite well. People being rude are rude because there's something wrong with them, not you. Some literally go on sites to try to ruin someone's shift. If they insult me, I insult them back. And focus on everyone who loves me. Those are your clients. I'm 5'4 130 34d big ass big hips big legs tattoos and long black hair. So light goth/bit biker/bit Kim K before she started experimenting with her hair and before that one time she bleached her eyebrows. I do just fucking fine. I think instead of working on your look, you should try to learn to love yourself.
You know what they say about the crazy ones........

Maybe u mean 'not the model on stage type'? Well, i can say i am not the model type and cam for 17 years now, i make a living off camming, i am white small bbw now (started as skinny at age 26) and i make about the same money, i mean men love me and will continue to love me because they also love matures and bbw's even 'grannies' as they call us lol
If u ask me i consider myself a sexy cute charming woman, not particularly very beautiful but pleasant to look at
It's all about style, the way u present urself, if u look well put, if u have nice gestures and shine beauty & confidence from inside.
You know, it took me a loooong while to understand that my belief system influences alot the attitude i have on cam, my belief system was affected by some traumatic experiences on cam and till last year i had a hard time believing in myself lately/ as much cause i was thinking i got too old and too big to be attractive for these guys but then everything changed due to a specific personal experience that turned my world to 180 degrees.
My conclusion is, pay attention to what u believe cause that is ur reality, u can get trapped into a false belief for many many years like i did.
Good luck on cam!

There is a 'type' for every guy. Maybe you feel you aren't considered 'conventionally attractive' in the circles tgat you've been moving in, but camming puts you in front of thousands (even millions) of new people. You will be bowled over by how many guys cannot get enough of you!your job then is to extract as much money from them as you can and turn them into long term regulars. That takes listening, awareness, psychology, charm, and paying attention... none of which involves your looks x

The thing about being black and not being attractive or that you won't make money being black it comes from the offline world. I started online first before I worked as a stripper, escort or even in the massage parlors. Right away starting that process I knew I would have a difficult time finding a place to work, being listed with an agency or just passing the phone call screening.
the balance of working offline and online sex work drove me insane literally. I think that's what triggered me into the psych ward a few times. If you are working online only, you almost never feel the hit of being considered unattractive or popular because of your race, because is the internet and it's like living in an enchanted forest.
now my challenge is yes I can make money from webcam, and other incomes online, but I am super lonely. So now I have to find a balance of where do I want to be connected in real life with colleagues. this why I enjoy the internet marketing and network marketing world they have events all the time. so I am able to be surrounded by like minded people sure some of them judge me for being in porn, but I have more online business experience then most of them at certain events. so when it comes to that I am ahead of them.
it almost the same feeling I had when I use to work in a strip club and girls were go on how it's slow and I would make my $200+ online the minute I got home. those girls hated me that I could turn around make up my cash from home without a club back then.
Now at events people getting notifications on their cell phones they made money or did some foreign exchange trade and made a profit. we are all on the same playing field.
If you let society determine what is success or not , you will drive yourself in sane.

A personality that is energetic, upbeat, and positive with a great attitude trumps good looks IMO. I’ve seen a ton girls who I wouldn’t consider the typical fem bot 10000 but have who look like they’re enjoying themselves do better monetarily than “conventionally” good looking girls.

If you take a glance at the first page of a big cam site, you will see incredible variety and diversity. The age of the models will range from 18 to 50s, you get BBWs, body-builders, slender and everything in-between. As for race, you can see models using ethnicity/race as a sell-able attribute. I never promote without using a hashtag #Asian and you'll see many using #ebony, #latina, etc etc.

THIS! So much this! I wanted to get into camming 10 years ago when I was 125 lbs skinnier and I didn't do it because I thought I was too fat to be successful. I'm over 300 lbs and I get so much love and attention for my body exactly as it is that I am actually surprised when I hear girls feeling bad about their bodies. I'm like that's a thing? I think after 3 years of camming I live in this bubble where I am so used to hearing how perfect I look I believe it. Also kicking myself for having the hangups I did 10 years ago and not doing it then. There is an audience for every "type" and it isn't just the type that keeps your audience engaged. The ability to connect with them and meet their emotional needs is what helps me be successful. If they just wanted to look at a woman who is there type they can find plenty of free porn online. They pay us because we provide an emotional connection that porn can't. They need interaction and if you don't interact well then you won't be successful. I love to ask my room if they are in my room because they have an exclusive fetish for BBW's or if they like a variety of body types and I'm just one they happen to be into. The answer is always 50/50. Half my room only likes women with my body type and half my room loves many body types. Society has drilled it into our brains that there's only one type of women men are attracted to but it just isn't true. Men are attracted to a wide variety of people and it's the whole package they are seeking with our services. Our charm, our wit, the interaction, the feeling of connecting with another human. Just my takeaway.
I'm so confused by the concept that Black women are unattractive or undesirable. I am 41 years old. I look like I'm 25 years old. I have always taken care of my physical appearance. I present myself in a very refined manner. I have NEVER been with a black man. Not even when I was 5 or 6 years old and had my first "boyfriend" on the school playground. I have never seen a black cock face to face lol. I attract White men, European men, Latin American men, even Asian men.
As I have stated before, I was born in America but culturally I am NOT American. So I have never bought into this belief system that "BLACK IS UGLY". My cultural background and heritage is West African and English. I am a milk chocolate cutie. I am not light skinned whatsoever. Men love ALL shades of black. I have a diverse range of hues in my family because my grandmother is mixed race (Nigerian and English). The women in my family range from the lightest tan to the darkest mocha. For instance, I am medium skinned tone, but my younger sister is light skinned. My husband is from Argentina. My sister's husband is from Norway. Neither of us ever dated black men. Interestingly enough, I actually attract a wider range of men than my sister does. Since she looks bi-racial she seems to attract more White men and European men. I never felt less attractive or less desirable than her. Why? It is all about your attitude. For the women in my family, we attract men because we have confidence, charm, and charisma. That is what men find desirable at the end of the day.

I hope you are a troll. Some of the most beautiful women in the world are black women and biracial women ...my daughter being one of them. Beauty is subjective, what I find attractive is a good heart, bright beautiful smile (teeth don't have to be perfect either) , pretty skin (YOU HAVE THAT GLOW NATURALY, NO TAN REQUIRED) , sense of humour and confidence ...
Also, remember that the powers that be in society want women to feel inferior. They want ALL women to feel inferior and insecure. That is how they maintain power and mentally enslave women. If ALL women felt confident in themselves, the world would be run by women. The powers that be in society DO NOT want this. By the way, the powers that be are the patriarchal establishments and institutions. In society no woman is good enough NOT JUST BLACK WOMEN. I was raised in upper middle class white suburban Los Angeles. My family was the only black family at my elementary school. I remember being like 11, 12, and 13 years old. The white girls were all looking at YM, Teen, and Seventeen Magazines. They all felt like they were not tall enough, not thin enough, not blonde enough, etc. Here I was the one of the only black girls at school (my 2 sisters were the other black girls lol) and I was so confused over why they were listening to all this garbage. My advice to ALL WOMEN is just be the best version of yourself that you can be. The worthwhile men will take notice. Forget what the media says. Forget what society says. Real men don't even pay attention to that rubbish and neither should you.
We are talking about looks and appearance here, but society's hyper-criticism of women is everywhere. You are a failure if you have a career. You are a failure if do not work and have a spouse or significant other supporting you. You are a failure if you don't have children. You are a failure if you do have children. You are a failure if you are single and never married. You are a failure if you are divorced. It goes on and on. The goal is to make you insecure and to make you mentally unstable. Look up where the word "hysteria" comes from. Did you know that more women suffer from depression, anxiety, eating disorders, etc. than men? Hmmmmm.... I wonder why? It is a conspiracy to mentally enslave women since physical slavery has been abolished in the Western World. DO NOT LISTEN TO ANY OF THESE MESSAGES. They are designed to keep you down and keep you inferior.

^^^ I know, right? Soo many cliche's regarding women's status, i am divorced for 23 years here and some people ask me "how come u did not rebuilt ur life yet?", like my life is broken or so, what is wrong with me being single/ divorced? Do i have to be married to have a life? Bitch, please, my life is Okay, even not ideal by ur standards, i am okay.

I'll be 36 in August, and I hate it when people ask me why I'm not married. Um...I don't WANT to get married (I don't even want a boyfriend), and don't WANT to have a second child either. And I'm not about to do those things just because society believes it's what I'm "supposed to do."
