Default Starting out just waitressing or going all out and just drive into dancing??????

So I'm finally going to go this week to Rick's cabaret in ft worth and try to start working there but idk if I should just go apply for a waitressing job or just go ahead and say fuck it and try to start dancing. Can someone please help me out with like a pros and cons list or just basic advice here please.

If you want to be a dancer start dancing. There's not really much point to getting hired first as a waitress unless that's the only club you want to work at and they aren't hiring dancers. They're two totally different jobs.

I have to drop the classic strip club joke here:

"What's the difference between a stripper and a cocktail waitress?"
    "About three weeks."

HURR HURR! Anyway, start wherever you feel most comfortable. If you feel most comfortable waitressing, do that. You can always get a feel for dancing and sense whether it's something you'd enjoy that way. Plus, customers want what they can't have and one of them may pay top dollar to see a waitress dance.

I can understand wanting to get a feel of a club and starting slow to ease yourself in, but do yourself a favor and just go for it. Your first day or two will be an adjustment but once you get past that, you'll have fun and will make better money.

Best of luck and keep us posted on how it goes!
