Default States with the least/most gun violence. Where would you live?

With U.S. gun violence being a real hot topic right now, rallies have been happening in many cities around the country of late, I decided to look this up. What are the states where gun violence happen and doesn't happen most often. Well I found that out.

States with the least amount of gun violence
    - Hawaii
    - New Hampshire
    - North Dakota
    - Vermont
    - Iowa
    - Maine
    - South Dakota
    - Idaho
    - Minnesota
    - Rhode Island
    - Utah
    - Wyoming
    - Massachusetts
    - Oregon
    - Montana

States with the most amount of gun violence
    - Louisiana
    - Mississippi
    - Alabama
    - Maryland
    - South Carolina
    - Missouri
    - Arkansas
    - Tennessee
    - Georgia
    - Illinois
    - Michigan
    - Delaware
    - New Mexico
    - Oklahoma
    - Florida

So my question...out of those states with the least amount of gun violence (the 1st list)...what state would you want to live in the most?

I'm from New Hampshire and went to university in Vermont. Of the two, NH is my favorite. Beautiful during all 4 seasons, access to the ocean, close to Boston and NYC. Oh, and did I mention no income or sales taxes?

I would love to try and live in Hawaii. In college I had some Hawaiian friends/roomates and being in California I made friends with Samoans who came to the mainland to play football and my Hawaiian friends were so much nicer and friendly then us Americans from the mainland. Just day and night difference.

I have known people here in America for years and I really don't even know them as they are so cold and distant but Hawaiian people are very open and friendly and will just invite you over to talk and offer food (just take your shoes off at the door!) not knowing much about you.

Also, Somoan women are like the only big women I would date. They're so pretty and sweet...

Anyway, anybody ever see the movie North Shore Roar with Nia Peebles? That's one of my favorite movies and it was filmed in Hawaii.

Hawaii is amazing I'd love to live there but those damn volcanoes freak me out.

otherwise I'd aim to set up a residence in as many peaceful states and just travel all year around

I'm thinking what the high gun crime list state have in common is urban decay, poverty, and lack of education. Just my opinion.
