If it is in a real post office, they won't take any mail that is coming from UPS or Fedex. They will only accept packages that are shipped through the plain old government postal system.
If that's what's going on, some Amazon packages can come to you, because the seller ships through the regular postal system. Other packages will not accept your address because they ship through Fedex or UPS, so they can't send anything to a PO box that's owned by the post office. Some Amazon sellers get bulk discounts through UPS or Fedex, so that's how they prefer to ship things. They may also consider Fedex or UPS to be a safer way to ship expensive items, like a phone. If you check different sellers on Amazon, they may be able to send you the exact same product via the regular mail.
