Cherry pie by warrant lmaooo so stereotypical but I was 17, just wanted to try out dancing for the night and clueless. When I actually started dancing “for real” at 23, it was Marvin Gaye - let’s get it on.

First song I ever danced to was Heart of Glass by Blondie. I didn't pick it; that's just what was on.
Anything from Lady Gaga's The Fame takes me back. It was like, all they played in clubs circa 2008-2009.
I Wanna Be A Kennedy by Kill Hannah. I had never in my life heard it before, but it was honestly pretty great.

I don’t remember at all, but I remember falling on the spinning pole when I went to do a twirl because I thought it was a static pole and when I took off my bra the hook got stuck on my fishnets. After I got off stage the DJ said in his announcement that I was “cute” which .... :/
I just remember that my stage sets were awkward and uncomfortable no matter what I did for the first month and then suddenly something “clicked” and it was instantaneous. Even though my pole work was still struggling at the time, my stages improved exponentially one day and I no longer looked like I was competing on amateur night. I’m still not sure what changed, it was just one night I went up to stage and all of a sudden I knew what I was doing and how to make it look good after endless shifts of struggling through embarrassing stages.
