Default Approaching customers at small club?

Auditioned yesterday and started working the same night. My club is small and during the week only 3 men come in or so but there’s always a lot of girls as soon as a man walks in they go sit and talk with him I thought that it would be a good idea to let the man sit and relax for a while before I approach but since it’s such a small club that doesn’t get a lot of customers should I try to approach them right away has they walk in like I seen other girls do?

You might have to approach immediately in that situation. I just hate that because then it's usually more time invested in the guy for his money than if the girls let the guy settle in and drink something first.

The best solution would be to work a club that is less dead if you can.

It sounds like this club is a looser. How can they or the dancers make any money with only 3 to 5 men a night. They may shut there doors soon. Keep looking for a new club.

I sit down and say hi, have a little bit of conversation like I am a damn door greeter. Then say "oh well I am sure you want to settle in a bit, but I'll come back and see if you are up for fun with me latter/ I'll let you enjoy the show a bit and come back and say, I am glad you came in tonight"
It seems to get my foot in the door with them, and then they at least tip me on stage or will get one or two dancer later. Its a bit more of a waitress or hostess behavior, customer service focused rather than hard sales.
I have found it works on guys in both big and small clubs.

But yes, if you are only getting LITERALLY 3 or 5 guys, you need to look for a different club.

I have worked in places like that and I found that if I sat at the bar and faced the door. The first face a customer would see after the door man was mine. Most of the time I could keep him with me the entire time he was there.

Move clubs you won't make any money there, and you want money for looking that good! But I use to go straight up to guys and majority of the time they wanted to settle in with a drink, sometimes guys will go for a dance right away though. It's mostly about luck.
