    Default Managers recruiting travel dancers??

Sooooo...what are you girls thoughts of this??

the 2 times I have actually gone and checked it out the clubs ended up being awful or slow or not so good..
(Scores in NYC and Platinum 84 in Denver, both equally sucking imo)

There is this manager and he came into my home club several months ago with his brother and asked me to do VIP, so I was like ok.. So we did an hour and he mostly tried to talk up the clubs he owns and manages on the east coast. The main one he is at I think is called Pure Gold in Raleigh NC, he's legit. So I told him if Im in town Ill come work a week or so...he told me the girls are spoiled there and get mad if they make less than 3k a night....

I make good money at my home club and usually just travel occasionally for novelty. But is he for real? I feel like managers do this because they don't have any hot girls and they are trying to sell a dream but end up wasting a dancers time. What are other girls thoughts?? Should I even bother with North Carolina??

(I make 1-2k on average nearly every night, with 3-5+k nights at least 1-3 times per month, usually anyhow, so travel dancing has to be GOOD for me to bother)

I have heard that song and dance before . I have never been to the east coast on a dancing trip I'd be a little skeptical about the promise of that kind of money. Traveling is fun but it's also a lot of bullshit to deal with.

The good news- if you already are a great hustler most travel trips will be fine.

The bad news- usually a club soliciting travel girls means they are slow OR the management is making local girls not want to be there.

Thankfully the Internet has killed the ability for club owners to hide certain things about clubs/cities. OTOH the economy and culture has changed to where most clubs anywhere are not hurting for dancers.

edit to add- I think he was just trying to get into your pants

Yah I honestly think for 1: I would have even heard of the club or clubs he supposedly owns/manages.
& 2: I would have heard at least 1 or 2 times from traveling dancers I've met about Raleigh being SO GOOD (which is always an individual thing but still there would have been SOME hype of some kind) , the fact I haven't heard any of that makes me skeptical as hell.

I probably won't bother with it. I have also found when people refer to many areas on the east coast being SO great, or people talking about big cities being amazing too.. 98% of the time they are NOT talking about clean dancing at all, so their "great" numbers wouldn't be what I would experience. (ie. Vegas, NYC, Houston)

From my experience the decent clubs- unless they are brand new or in a rural area- don’t have to recruit.

Some strip clubs in rural areas have unreliable dancers primarily because they allow house girls to break rules constantly.

If they worked harder to get girls to come to them, they'd operate better as a business. There is one club in particular in the Midwest that would be awesome if the management wasn't so lazy and backwards.

No, Raleigh is always named on the top economically booming cities but the strip
    Clubs SUCK.

I have worked in NC several times for several months in several cities and I would avoid Raleigh myself. 3k is hilarious, try $300.

Really? I had a bff who loved the Carolinas for money but she made bank wherever she went. Hmmm. I guess the "New Economy" made it like that in that region......

I would avoid Raleigh. Not the state of North Carolina. Raleigh.

3K per night is great! but is it real. I just met a traveling dancer who told me that she makes great bucks in other states and wanted to know if I wanted to go with her on her next trip. I am still not sure if I will make stripping or adult entertainment my career (right now it is a summer job) But the prospect of making 3k a night is tempting.

It's slow at their club, the girls are busted/old/ customers are tired of them, and/or they want some fresh faces. I would not believe ANY numbers a manager tells you. Their main objective is to get you to come in and pay that house fee/do stage/etc.

Any club that has to either offer dancers money to work there, or is sending their staff out of town to recruit, is a club to avoid.

Doesn't matter why they are doing it. Either management, current girls, or their customer base is shit, or all three. The fact that they are having trouble enticing local girls to work there should be a huge red flag.

Mmm, I worked for a club in Texas that flew in lots of girls and also Vancouver BC where they flew in porn stars from all over, both were great for me, I was flown in to both places.

Just have to be smart and do your research.
