    Default Moving to Vegas

Hi ladies! In less than two months I'm officially going to be a Las Vegas resident! Please, no negative comments about the move. I've travel danced in Vegas for the last 3 years and am pretty familiar with the strip/downtown area but the rest of the city, not so much. I'm hoping to get some insight from locals about neighborhoods, outdoor activities and really anything that stands out for you as an LV resident. A little bit about me...Born in Northern California, lived and/or danced in almost every major city on the West Coast, 8 years in the industry, 27, single, health conscious, dog mom, outdoor lover and somewhat of a homebody. I'd like to live somewhat close to dog friendly trails or parks.. My mental health will go down the drain if I do not exercise daily, I will settle for the gym and lake days during the majority of summer. I've tried communicating with people via FB about dog friendly neighborhoods and I keep getting shit on, big time. With that being said, what are some of your favorite neighborhoods and why? Some of the neighborhoods I've been looking into are summerlin, centennial hills, enterprise, and downtown. Summerlin is probably my first choice becuase of its proximity to outdoor activities and downtown is a close second for its urban feel. Anyways, Thanks for reading my rambling! Have a prosperous evening, it's only 3am...

Hi I just moved to green valley ranch it’s beautiful here and I love it. It’s very safe and clean . Great school district if u have kids and only about 15 mins from the strip. A one bedroom goes for around a thousand a month and a two bedroom close to 1200. Dog friendly at all the complexes I looked into before finding the perfect place for me. I have a little chihuahua she is tiny but most of the places I looked into into didn’t have weight restrictions. Hope this helps

Rhodes Ranch subdivision is nice. Avoid downtown for renting a place to live.

Thanks so much! If you don't mind me asking why would you avoid downtown?

Downtown is sketch as F*ck. I've been there a lot (my day job) and it's not really ideal for a young single woman in that city.

Rent wherever people from Nellis AFB rent. Can't go wrong with that.
