Default Best bank account for adult workers

Best and worst places to do banking (especially a savings account) with adult industry income?

I have not had an issue with any banks........ cashing checks or direct deposit. But I like BlueBird by Amex to be honest.

I like that I can have 4 additional cards for family members. I use these as an envelope system (Dave Ramsey Fans I am looking at you) and one for my son to transfer money back and forth.

Mobile check deposit Instant for a fee or free with a 10 day wait)

Lots of atms are free - Credit union Co-ops, 7-11's, etc.
Walmart partnership for adding cash for free at the register

    Budgets tool

Savings account automatically attached to your account.

    CONS:

It is a pre-paid card and will be declined if a merchant does not accept pre-paid cards
Pre-paid cards freeze at teh gas pump
If Amex is not accepted, this card will not work for that merchant.

I use this primarily for spending money and utilize a credit union for bills.

Credit Unions in local cities can be pretty great I feel like they are fairer thank big banks, less fees, and credit unions all have a network with each other around the country, so even if you're on holiday in another state, you can still access your money by going to any local credit union with just your card.

I also use Wells Fargo and I like the fact that they specifically publicly stated they welcome adult performers. They had a lot of bad press but I feel they are being watched carefully now due to past fraud so I feel like the odds are they are safer than other banks now. I've had accounts in the past with Chase and Bank Of America and they both have had class action lawsuits against them - chase sent me a $20 check from one of them lol.

I have tried a couple of local credit unions and found their service lacking and most of them had zero agents available to help me on weekends or night time, strictly 9-5 M-F and I didn't like that at all. Took them forever to credit my check deposits and direct deposits tended to be delayed by a few days also.

Unfortunately in some areas they are selling their branches but if you have one available would consider Wells Fargo.
