Im considering starting camming or stripping and I havent seen any other girl with short hair like mine. My hair is probably about 2 and a half inches long and curly. Would I be able to make any money?

Guys like variety. Club owners/ mangers May not like your short hair though and may not hire because of it.

I know dancers who do pretty well with short hair, but have noted that they have to be more friendly and go the extra length to make a customer feel less intimidated because #fragile male egos. I know several dancers with short hair who just bypass the uncertainty and wear cheap wigs and it seems to go over well!

Yes!! Every type can make money. Regardless of what you hear. I've seen it many times! Guys want variety. That's why there really is no such thing as a certain dancers regular. Most of these regulars come in on their favorite dancers day off to dance with someone else or another type. That's why I hate when dancers get so possessive over guys and say they're their customers. Most of these guys these days dance with everyone at the club eventually. So the guy is really the clubs regular. Sure there are guys that are really set on one dancer or a certain type. But not so much nowadays I think.

no, most guy do not like short hair. can you still make good money? yes, but you are making it harder for yourself.

Well, opinions are like assholes, everyone has one.

for cam, my experience, no, most do not.
Bob cuts seem to be male friendly.
I go through hairstyles and only a handful say they like the short hair.
That handful will not pay my bills and shining your personality is hard on cam when it only takes a click to the next cam.
I've seen dancers make bank but that is a whole different vibe.

Sadly this- basically every girl I"ve worked with who started with short hair wears wigs or got extensions. There's veeeeeery occasionally a custie looking specifically for a girl with short hair, but for the most part long traditionally "feminine" hair gets more cold sales.
Obviously if you're a strong hustler you can make money with literally any look, but why force yourself to have to work for sales you could have gotten just walking up to the table?
It can be harder to get hired with short hair also. I'd suggest getting a wig and seeing how it goes. You can always try some shifts without it and see if it has an effect or not.
I ended up camming with a wig on and made $250, probably stick with the wig. thanks!

It must be a club thing. I worked with a dancer recently who rocks a crew cut. She does have an enormous brazilian butt lift. And huge tits so that probably helps. And she's an amazing hustler too.

Most don't like it, I suppose

Hate to say this, but it depends on your race and weight. I know a very pretty WOC who rocks a pixie but she is a Halle Berry doppelganger. Skinny Caucasian and light skinned minorities seem to get the most leniency.

I've never had short hair when dancing (shortest it's been when dancing is shoulder length), but from what I've seen/heard from other dancers, most custies don't like short hair and prefer long hair. I worked with a girl who had hair a little bit past her shoulders and then got a pixie cut and she said her money went way down. She ended up getting extensions after about a month. She was skinny with a very pretty face too.

agree. i am rocking a bob for the second time in my stripper career and i'm feeling' myself lol. the guys aren't. i get a lot of comments why i cut my hair. last time, years ago, same thing. my money went way down. strangely, my hair was fried and thin and horrible looking a little past shoulder length but guys still prefer that IME.
am going to go back to clip ins. easier cold sales, like someone said.
While beauty is just a matter of opinion and some guys like short hair, most men prefer long, so by growing it out, getting extensions or a wig, you'd most likely do better financially.

Hell yea they do. My home club has a dancer who has a QUITE short pixie (like Natalie Portman after V for Vendetta) that used to just be a straight-up shaved head, and she balls out. There is someone for everyone. And if you have a club owner/management trying to be like "oh, well, we don't know about that" then that's not a place I'd want to work anyway. Just my two cents/experience.
Edit: get a wig just in case tho. That's what I did when I had dreads. (Yes you can fit dreads into a wig cap.)
