Default Anyone with skin conditions? I need your advice!

So basically I was just diagnosed with a skin condition called Pityriasis Rosea. It's an ugly rash that makes me look like I have splotchy burn marks all over my chest specifically and it itches like hell. Good news is that it's not contagious and will go away on its own. Bad news is, it takes 6-12 WEEKS until it heals and I'm just getting through week 4.
I started dancing 3 weeks ago when I just had an ugly splotch on my thigh (turned out to be a mother patch) and just covered it up for my audition so I know I didn't contract this from the club, I just have a really shitty history with skin issues (chicken pox, hives, shingles).

Long story short, I haven't been able to work for 3 weeks because it's looked so fuckin gnarly not to mention it's SUPER sensitive like a sunburn. But bills are piling up and I"m broke as shit even after I get paid by my 9-5 job.. (car issues, health issues, etc). So I need to get back into the club at least for a few nights.

Do you guys have any tips on covering up blemishes (hypopigmentation) or doing a less contact dance in a sexy way (we're pretty heavy contact at my club)?

How do you guys handle having body issues/imperfections when your source of income is directly related to having an attractive body?

    Thanks!

Try neem oil on your skin. Neem oil would probably be the best thing for healing your skin as quickly and efficiently as possible. I would also try CeraVe Hydrocortisone Anti-Itch Cream in addition to neem oil. Every time you get out of the shower, mix some neem oil with the CeraVe Hydrocortisone Anti-Itch Cream and apply it to the effected areas. Use it every single day, multiple times a day if necessary.

    Hang in there babe! <3

    You're a doll,

I found this neem soap at an african store and I've been applying that and coconut oil RELIGIOUSLY. I put a few drops of neem oil in my soap and wash with it. The smell is so strong if I put it directly on my skin I get nauseous and gaggy. I smell like a walking beef stick, so gross!

    Thanks so much!

You're welcome love. Yes, that's the thing about neem oil. It doesn't smell very nice. But it certainly gets the job done. Tea tree oil could also help. But seriously look into the CeraVe creams. They are formulated by dermatologists and are amazing.

Actually, neem cream could be better than neem oil:

Reading the reviews, it seems it doesn't smell bad either.
