    Default Credit card money (Vegas)

While working in Vegas a few months ago I had a good night. My customer payed with his credit card which translated into dancer dollars...so freaking stupid! I went to exchange my money at the end of the night and they said if you make over X amount you have to wait 90 days to pick up the rest. I asked if I could take a loss and give them 10% and they said no. I was pretty tipsy and tired when I was done so didn't ask anymore questions. I called tonight and they told me I had to pick it up in person and there is no way around it. I feel like there has to be. Girls travel from all over the freaking world to dance there. Any ideas?

I don't have any ideas, but just wanted to say that sucks and I'm sorry! A club here has that policy & the owner explained it was because of chargebacks.... Not to freak you out, it may not be the exact same there, but sometimes his girls don't ever get paid because the customer disputes the charge and wins.

What club is this by chance?

Treasures. I talked to one of my customers who's a lawyer and he said it would be hard to get around it. Vegas clubs are constantly facing lawsuits so they have their rules and laws in check. If they didn't give me my money I would sue the shit out of them. I have pictures and proof of everything. As for the club you're talking about...I can't believe that is allowed, that can't be legal. You would think the bastard would just pay them himself. The club I'm currently at holds CC money for three days. I know girls who have complained about not getting the right amount but never becuase a customer disputed it! That makes me so mad for those girls.

This is true. Many years ago when I worked in Vegas banks/CC companies would flag transactions over a certain amount in that city b/c they automatically expected a dispute over charges.
