Hiya! I've been looking at camming for about a month now, reading up everything I could find, and I haven't seen an answer to this yet.
The Logitech C270, which I frequently see recommended, only supports Mac under what they call USV Mode (USB Video Device Class). Google has given me a bit of info but I haven't been able to find as much for cam streaming specifically. For those who have Macs, can you explain what this is and how it affects the video quality / easy of use / anything else important? I'd appreciate it a ton.
I'm pretty tight financially at the moment, so I can't just order that and one of the Mac OS compatible to evaluate. Right now, what I've got is a laptop webcam. It's decent for video streaming and chat but the video quality is lesser than I would be comfortable with for videos and clips and such.
Thanks all! Nice to meet you.![]()
