    Default Becoming a "Twitch thot"

So my friend told me about sexy streaming on Twitch and I love games so thought it'd be cool

But then I did some research and turns out you can get a LOT of backlash on it... honestly it's Twitch i'm not surprised

Anyone here a sexy gaming streamer? Thoughts?

If you want to stream on twitch stream on Twitch. the odds of you becoming that popular where you have that much haters would mean you are doing something right.

I am to busy making money to worry about what website posting about me.

Eh, it's not the haters that worry me, it's the doxxing for sure. The girl in the article apparently got sensitive information about her leaked. Butthurt Twitch boys are dangerous.

Although I assume it's a risk with camming as well, i feel like it's slightly less significant of one.

I was wondering if anyone on this site used it as well and found success.

From what I gather there are like 10 girls on Twitch total who actually bank streaming. It's not a camsite, non camgirl streamers have a problem with it and the rules being arbitrarily enforced make it sound very toxic. I've seen enough "TWITCH CAMGIRL GETS PWNED" garbage on YouTube to steer clear forever.

Twitch has cracked down a lot on dress code as well, so it might be a lot harder to be sexy on there - https://www.twitch.tv/p/legal/commun...ity-and-attire

precisely this. Its why I geoblock on SM and don't utilize any social media for camming. People say we should focus on our "brand" and take advantage of every outlet that is available. But i personally realized how much bullshit the most typical successful girls have to deal with. I don't want fame or popularity, therefore I work in a very minimal way in order to decrease my risk of being doxxed. As long as I hit my goals I couldnt care less how popular I am. I considered using twitch but instantly decided against it once I saw very popular streamers being vehemently against camgirl crossover types. I don't want to deal with the harassment or the higher possibility of being outed/doxxed.

I honestly don’t know a ton about what it takes to be a successful sexy twitch streamer. My instinct tells me that these days your chances of being really successful are the same as YouTube fame success. And that shit is tough. I could be wrong.

Hmmm. I've been camming on XXX sites off/on since college and recently gave Twitch a shot. Thing is, I like money and while, yes, you CAN make money on Twitch, it takes a lot longer and a lot more effort. This is especially true if you're not a graphic designer, and sound, lighting or video tech. Lots of camgirls familiar with token sites might have an easier time with that stuff. Like the above posters, my absolute number one fear was running afoul of the toxic side of that community. Which is a large portion of it. Didn't want to get hacked, doxxed and stalked. Or to have my previous (and now current) cam work dug up by trolls. The pros of Twitch: If you genuinely LOVE games and can produce tons of amusing content, you'll probably be alright. Or as an artist, it's an excellent way to get tips for whatever art you make -for real, I streamed my drawings, ppl love that shit. The cons: There's tons of minors or people posing as them/vice versa, everchanging TOS, a sexist slant to everything; and if your PC is old, like mine, forget it! It's also... a fucking weird ass set up. Cuz Twitch is full of die-hard gamers, they don't wanna admit that they're essentially a vanilla cam site. So you'll be tested ALL. THE. TIME. by dipshits who wanna make sure you really, in fact, do love games (or whatever you're streaming) aren't a THOT, etc.

PS. NEVER advertise being a THOT, if you choose to dip your toe in that pool. It isn't worth the potential nightmare and with Twitch changing their terms so often to distinguish the type of content their streamers are serving up, you never know when someone is gonna decide your stuff is 'inappropriate'.

The way i look at it is I want to be on that site. and I want to advance on there I will follow the terms and conditions.

I am not worried about what future negativity that could happen. it's not even something I get my mind to think about

Pretty much every social media outlet has someone who pushes the rules too far. it happens in everything.

Between streaming, then getting a level of streaming regular where you have an audience then be offered to be an affiliate it's a lot of steps involved. if you even get that far then you need to think of your next move when you get there.

but for the I like the idea, but I never done it before but I am gonna make a list of everything that can go wrong before I even try it. does not make any sense. You want to create failure for yourself then keep living in the fear of it never happened but I think it will happen.
