    I am terribly sorry for your pain. You are among the extremely unlucky - otherwise young healthy people who have serious issues with this. The overwhelming majority do not as we have evidenced here in FL, but that is no doubt small comfort. I truly hope that you feel better soon.

    But as truly bad as I feel for you, I also felt horrible for those people who were forced into poverty and deprivation during the lockdowns. I work with with direct food and goods outreach programs, so I saw it firsthand. Florida is a tourism and service based economy and millions had no way to provide for their families. Food banks were swamped and people didn't know how they were going to keep their lights on. Impoverished new mothers couldn't even buy diapers or formula for their babies, nevermind cribs, bassinets and strollers. I could go on, but I won't, except to say that it was horrible in too many ways to easily outline, especially for the children with parents who worked in the places that were closed down.

    Oh, and I am not Eric. The sad thing about being on a site where there are so many multi-account users is that we tend to suspect everyone. I can't speak to his behavior with dancers, but the MO you outlined is not my gig.

    And those millions who became desperate most certainly included dancers. There were countless stories on customer sites about the fun they were having early in the shutdowns with girls who were suddenly without income. Some of course were girls that did not normally do that sort of thing but found themselves engaging in survival sex until they could pivot to less lucrative vanilla work.

    So while I am going to respectfully disagree about which state handled this better, I am once again truly sorry for your suffering and hope you feel better soon.

    Interesting stuff in this thread. Well mea culpa and it seems I was most likely wrong. I apologize for the accusation.

    The struggle and demise of Penthouse Executive Club is interesting to me. I remember being bored enough to find old stripperweb threads from back in ‘06-‘08 and it seemed like the place dancers wanted to flock to. And it was a place for businessmen with their partying. Then (from what I’ve heard?) it turned into a place where it became less about volume and more about keeping a small following of regulars and being ultra exclusive. The hiring standards was above the other Manhattan clubs and the customers spent more per girl on average than other clubs, or at least that is what they wanted to go for? Btw all the impressions I get are secondhand and from this blog post about different clubs:

    Which is an interesting thing. I guess there is a lesson on maybe not trying to be *too* exclusive and making your club choke and die? If anybody has any insights on what to make of it, it would be a fun read.
