i previously thought really negatively about this diet, because i thought it meant consuming a ton of bacon and cheese. and i thought it wouldn't be sustainable, and you only lose water weight because of the very low carbs, and as soon as you stop you gain back that (water) weight.

But... what entices me is the 'state of ketosis', which they describe as being full of energy and having a ton of focus and clarity. I struggle with that, so I am inclined to give it a try. More so for these benefits than weightless.

Has anybody been in ketosis before? Pros and cons? I also found some research saying that you can get into ketosis through fasting, but i'm looking for something that will give me energy and focus longer term.
