Default Can Foreign traveler be a stripper in usa?

Hi i'm rosaline and i am korean. South korean. I am currently scheduled to enroll in university in korea. But i don't have money for tuition. I have a little brother and parents to take care of. So i mean I REALLY NEED MONEY.

I saw some dancer youtubers and i am thinking of going to the states and make some money by dancing. I am thinking of going there by travel visa in 2019, January and February. I think i will stay there for a month.

But can i? I mean, can i work there with travel visa? Is there places where they hire people like me? If it becomes worth a visit, i hope to go there in summer break one more time. Can it be possible?

I am so relieved to find this website. I was so worried and depressed because i have nobody to question these things. Please be generous to help me.

If you come to Canada, there are a few clubs that will let you work "under the table."

You can work illegally. You just need to find a club that will allow it. Like she said ^

Yes it’s possible but it’s not legal and has some risks.

Here in NY and NJ all the clubs ask for license. They only make a photocopy of it from what I've seen. In NYC, all clubs ask for social security card and drivers license. Also only photocopies / no verification machines. There are very few Asian strippers in America so you'd probably do decently ok. But working for just a month, that probably won't cover the expenses of your flight, accommodations, and visa unless you were a planning to work most days a week.

Which part of the ROK? I was in Dongducheon for two weeks during one of my Annual Training periods in the Reserve, though I was able to Seoul, Pusan, and Incheon while I was there, as well.

As already stated, anything you did would be under the table work and illegal.

Flashdancers, Private Eyes and New York Dolls in NYC does not ask for your ss# or authorization to work. Not sure how they get away with it, and they certainly take advantage of their worker's illegal status. However, with some of the changes going on in the nyc strip club scene with the zoning laws possibly going into effect, that particular chain might become more stringent with asking for documentation.

Lots of clubs don't ask for documentation, so if you want to work illegally, I'm sure you'll be able to find a way with enough will. Lots of clubs in LA don't ask for paperwork. 4play/plan b and Body Shop doesn't.

I, however, am completely against it. It took me years to get into this country legally to find myself doing this job, and I don't want to compete in an already hyper-competitive industry with ppl not paying their taxes or otherwise contributing to American society socially and/or economically.
