    Thumbs down I tried but...

So I tried going the corporate route by getting a job that pays pretty decent but this job isn’t all that it’s cracked up to be. The fact that I work from 1-10:30pm everyday is literally taking up my entire day. I have to deal with ignorant customers back to back on the phone (call center job) just to get $1000 every 2 weeks. 80 hours = $1000 at my job whereas I’ve made that in just a few hours dancing. I literally dread going to work everyday considering the fact that I can’t even catch my breath in between calls without someone calling right away.

So so to make a long rant short, I’m ready to pull my heels out but I’m really trying to figure out which club to work at. I was considering Silk in Milwaukee... any up to date information on Silk or the Silk in downtown Milwaukee that just recently opened? The sooner I find a club, the sooner I can quit this job!

Well I am not sure what type of information that you want about Silk but I'll give you all the information that I have. Call to set up a time to audition during the week, if you have a strong stage set they will most likely let you work that same night. Day shift fee is 3 dollars, night shift fee is 38 dollars, you have to tip the dj at least 10 dollars. None of the dances are done on the floor, they have a room you go to for dances and each lap dance is 20 dollars, the club keeps 5 and you get 15, definitely ask the customer for a tip so you can tip the door guys. Dances are super low contact from what I am used to, like you dance and the customer keeps his hands at his sides the entire time. The customers were nice, management was okay. I've heard the club downtown is really nice, I haven't worked there but my girlfriend is planning on working there some time this month.

Thank you so much for the info! Do they let you audition any day and do you make your own schedule?

That's actually the first club I went to and made me want to strip in the first place. I don't know too much about it but I enjoyed the atmosphere and the stage rotation seemed very efficient.
