What area are you in now?
Can you/do you want to travel (even driving 2+ hours each way)?

If you don't want things to be difficult or competitive apply for one of those jobs cuddling pandas or something. This job IS difficult and competitive and if you can't stomach that your don't belong in this industry. ESPECIALLY now with things going to hell in a handbasket.

If you walk in thinking it's going to be competitive or difficult, it will be. It's 100% up to you. Be confident and hustle! No matter where you go it will be. If don't realize that you need to just wear blinders and be about your business you're going to have issues. I literally have the best nights when I mind - my - own - business. Barely in the dressing room, rarely talking to girls, always calculating money and moves for the rest of the night to make more.

I occasionally have off nights where I feel ugh .. every outfit sucks, feel off on stage, annoyed by everything, not making a ton right away, noticed someone getting big money, etc.....The second I let my mind go there, I am distracted and leave broke. It is frustrating when I sit there and think about the funk I got into and realize that I just left my money out of my hands and wasted a whole night.

Don't walk in IN a funk

The OP gave me a good laugh. I mean, i understand the sentiment, of course. I'm sure some clubs exist that align more with what the OP is looking for compared to other clubs.

I'd say that dives tend to have this vibe. Neighborhood, small-town dives where girls are conditioned to be happy with low- earnings nights, so they aren't hustling or competing. But those clubs can also be hella sharky...

I was kind of tempted to say "When you find out, let the rest of us know" and leave it at that.

But, in the interest of trying to help, I will say that first you will have to do a little self critique regarding your work style and what is easier for you to sustain. You would then search for a club which fits your work personality.

For example: Do you like a lot of activity, high energy, and new customers every night?

Or do you like a slower pace and use conversation to develop regulars?

In another thread, I wrote that working in NY didn't suit my working style and I always felt that I was swimming against the current.

The late nights, packed club, and totally new faces wore me out. I got tired of hearing my own sales pitch and starting fresh every night.

When I began working day shifts in another more local club, it was so much easier. I liked seeing some repeat customers and developing new ones.

It depends on you and what fits. No matter what you choose though, be aware that you will have to work.

Gone are the days with numerous flush and naive customers to throw money at you. Even the most beautiful women are refused for not providing extras, sex, etc. Good luck.

I thought things would get better after the Great Recession-they’ve only got worse. I’m still grateful I don’t have to suck dick or work at shitty paying job.

I wasn’t trying to be a bitch OP.

I think new girls or maybe people think we make tons of money just for shaking or ass. Nope it really is a sales job if your are just doing dances.

How interesting you should say this. I looked up some info—Tinder was introduced at the end of 2012. FUCK you, Tinder.

I wonder if some clubs still exist that offer base pay. Could that alleviate some competitive vibes? Remember Tina's guide to clubs that offer base pay?
