Default NOLA Clubs After The Raids

I booked a two week trip to NOLA, thinking that it'll be great, just like the last two times I went there. Well, it hasn't been the case this time. What's going on?

I arrived on a Wednesday evening, late. I went to Ricks two nights in a row, and was told to come back 2-6 the next day and when I came back at 5:33 the following day, I was told to come in at 2-4. I got a hold of the house mom via a mutual friend, who finally told me that Ricks NOLA only does auditions Tuesday and Wednesday, 2-8 and you need to ask for a specific manager.

I got rejected by Penthouse. That was to be expected as this is what happened to me last time, a few years back as well. Penthouse does their auditions everyday until 8pm. I auditioned close to 8pm, and it seemed a bit slow. Staff and manager who gave me a 'no' were very nice.

I was going to audition at Hustlers, but while filling out my application inside, it looked so dead and to put it nicely, not my first choice of club (not my vibe), and so I asked them if I can come back the following night to finish the audition once I got my travel plans squared away, as there was a good chance I might need to go back home the following day. I come back the following day, and sure enough, they tell me to come back the next day, 2-8, as there are no managers doing auditions at the time.

Is it really more difficult to get hired now at the clubs, post-raids? Are the audition times really much more restricted than they were previously? Or is this an issue that is entirely on me, look centric? Admittedly, I've aged a few years, gotten some questionable plastic surgery and have been asked where are my husband and kids more than once, so...

Last time I was here, I felt welcomed with open arms, a smile and money strewn all over me. Perspectives?

It's not you. It's the club situation. We have like half as many clubs as we used to a few years ago, thanks in large part to the raids. It's a supply-and-demand thing, and right now clubs are in demand and dancers are over-supplied. Especially now that it's season and a lot of traveling girls are returning.

With Rick's, you just have to keep coming back when they ask you to. It's not their way of brushing you off. They genuinely are busy when they say that and don't have time to audition. They are definitely hiring new girls, from what I hear.

Penthouse--yeah, that club is hard to get hired at even when there are no extenuating circumstances.

For Hustler--if they asked you to come back 2-8, it's likely that they want you to audition for day shift. Try going back between 7-8 so the night shift managers will be there. Day shift is decent at Hustler, though.

I would recommend following up with Rick's and auditioning at Hustler. If that's a no-go, try Barely Legal, Scores and Stilettos, in that order. I don't know much about Kama Sutra because I'm white and I think it's an urban club.

The suburbs clubs--Visions and Nola Cabaret--are also good if you don't mind a 15-30 minute drive.

I made bank when I worked at Barely Legal a few years ago until that Libby cunt fired me for no dam reason. I auditioned everywhere on Bourbon & no dice until I walked into BL.

I have a seasonal job right now, so I haven't been working at BL, but I was asked to come back due to need of dancers.
