Default Body advice for a incoming baby stripper?

    Hey everyone!

I’m so happy I came across this site! I love everyone is so helpful and nice to others on here!

After years are debating it, and months seriously considering it, I decided to start stripping. I’m a recent college grad with debt way above my head but want to eventually move to ATL to pursue acting and music. I’m in the process of looking for a full time job (I had one that was completely unrelated to my college major and unnecessarily stressful, but it paid well so I tried to stick it out but was eventually fired) but no one is calling back I’m working two part time jobs and doing Uber Eats now, but with rent and student loan bills coming up at the end of this month, right now I’m desperate for actual money.

Stripping, I feel shouldn’t be too hard, especially since I’ve worked sales jobs before and can easily talk to people (I was a journalism major after all lol) but my issue is my weight. I’m 4’10 and weigh about 145 lbs. Big boobs and shapely butt and thighs but also have a gross looking gut with a mom’s apron. I used to be a lot smaller and leaner, but started neglecting the gym (thanks to former full time job and stress) and became vegan. I’m back to eating meat again to help me build muscle and I know I can eventually get back to the way I used to look but I was hoping to start dancing within the next few days. I checked out this club and was hired on spot (I’m assuming the club just lets girls come in whenever, there wasn’t even an audition!) but I’m not sure if I would make any money or even get guys because of my body. Does anyone have any advice on what to do until I can lose the weight permanently? Have you all seen any strippers who were a bit out of shape make money at clubs? I can add pictures if needed!

Also - could anyone give me some advice on how or what to start convos with guys at the club? Are there certain cues you look for, before talking to them?

Fake it till you make it. I read a lot of books about sales and small talk. That’s a good place to start.

BBW girls can do well at smaller clubs. Corporate clubs tend to have rules about weight (including weigh-ins and visual inspection before hire.)

Hit up a gym and start talking to the "gym rats." Once you tone up you'll be able to determine what is fixable with fitness and what you might want to get surgery on.

A LOT of clubs allow girls to wear corsets and cinchers to cover tummy fat. The managers usually have a costume guideline they'll explain upon hiring you. I worked at a chain club that changed their dress code b/c it was easier to trust the girls with fashion decisions than task the house mom with policing the outfits/shoes.

The stripping game is more "Hollywood" than it was when I started. Just my 2 cents. It's an occupation, it's a look, it's a life experience.

I made money when I was fat. It was much harder but it's possible.

I’m pretty sure the little bit of fat I have left can be lost. I’m still only 23 lol! I lost over 100 lbs before so I know what to do, just I had setbacks that hindered me from the goal I SHOULD be right now. Have you heard anything about Detroit clubs? I figured Michigan clubs won’t be as demanding as let’s say a Miami or NY club.

Thank you. I got turned down a LOT when I was fat. It's a harsh lesson but one I think I should pass on. You cannot be a minority and be heavy. Add on additional penalties for any way that you may "deviate" from the "default" Eurocentric beauty standard. WOC are held to impossibly high standards. It sucks but that's the way the game is played.
You sound like my exact statistics a few years ago. If you do keto or Paleo you should be able to drop weight in a timely manner, provided you stick with it consistently.
