    Default Receive wishlist gifts UK?

I signed up for ukpostbox which has a payg option which seemed ideal for my Amazon wishlist needs, particularly as you can use a business name. However people have already started buying stuff and now I'm regretting it. Costs are 6 to receive a package, 3 fee plus delivery cost to send on to me. I'm already up to 42 and items are only worth 50! K stupid idea!! *Head/desk*

What service in the UK can I use to receive my wishlist items anonymously and then collect (preferably) or have them forwarded? I don't tend to get enough gifts to justify paying any monthly set fee.

    Argh :/

If it's only amazon would amazon Locker work for you? It's free with prime.

Yes but what is to stop some creep parking up outside the lockers and waiting for her to arrive to collect? Far too risky IMO!

I just checked and annoyingly you can't use an amazon locker as a permanent address as they depend upon availability at the time of order

I have the same problem and couldn't find a solution either...I'm from Europe and there are no Amazon lockers near me...I wanted to set up a wishlist on amazon.de. I'm not from Germany so they always send international packages with UPS or DHL. These courier services don't deliver to PO boxes or gas stations or other pick up places. They want to see ID at delivery, so I guess I can't put a fake name/ address unless if I use mail forwarding service, which is too expensive.

Yeah definitely too expensive. My guy has bought even more stuff so I'm now up to 70 owed in fees. I've had to take the address down because I can't afford that. Well I can afford it but the point of a wishlist is to get stuff FREE. I don't mind paying a reasonable small fee especially if the items are very high value but most of this is lingerie that comes to about 20 per item. Lesson learned!

    Back to the drawing board.

as much as I dislike it, deliverycode charges the buyer a fee (not you) & they're UK based.

I have all my packages sent to my home in Spain. I use just my first name on the package so its not my porn name its just a regular name. They need to take ID but they dont need to see it. They take my tax number or passport number. I dont show it to them I just tell them what it is and then I sign and they give me the package. The only time this has been an issue was the one time I wasnt home to accept the package and I had to go pick it up from the courier. They wanted to SEE my ID but because there was only one name on the package they wouldnt give it to me so they sent it back and my guy had to resend it to me. Now I have all packages marked to leave with my neighbor if I am not home. He works from home like me so between the two of us someone is usually here to get the packages.

I'm guessing your guys are mostly in the US and UK? In which case it's ok to send to spain lol. I don't want UK guys turning up at my actual UK address though!

In the end ukpostbox charged me just under 50 to receive 7 packages and forward them on to my home address. So not terrible considering the overall amount that the gifts are worth. However I have now changed to a friend's address as I can't keep paying for things I want for free *grin*

I would use deliverycode but absolutely nobody has bought from my list there in 4 years. Guys just prefer amazon and I'd rather meet them where they're at. Besides which DC take a ridiculous amount in delivery charges and take about 2 weeks to post.

^^ Okay I actually forgot to mention that part but yes you are correct most of my guys are from USA or other EU countries and lots from Australia. I never ever ever have Spanish clients because they are way way too cheap! I dont worry too much about it though. All my neighbors know Im a porn star and they leave me alone about it even though some of them are clearly damn right excited about it. Luckily most people in the world are actually decent people and stalking is pretty rare. Most men are too intimidated by me to stalk me.

I think the Friend address thing is the way to go. Or an office address if you know anyone who has an office that would be willing to accept your packages. The point is that even if the name on the package isnt the same as the name on the ID it wont matter cause they are mostly concerned that it is delivered to the right address.
