They're definitely too big then. No, smaller doesn't neccesary mean it will hurt more, your problem now, is that your feet are probably not in the right position. However, there's always a chance this specific shoe model doesn't fit you.

Cause the material is really hard plastic when I put my feet in and it's hurts bad. So if I get the pleaser shoes should I get a size 6 ? Since I'm size 7 and this shoe that is hurting is size 7 and name brand is Ellie.

Yes, based on what you say, I think so.
It is also a possibility that the Pleaser heels comes with a better fit, and that you could go with 7, it's not easy to say when switching between brands.

Okay, so if it's a bigger size than my feet will stick out and that's where the pain is coming from right ? So when I try on a size 6 my feet aren't supposed to hang out right ?

Yes, that's my experience. It does also look weird when your toes slides out in front..

i agree try pleasers. they've always been comfy for me right away even my very first pair. i cant wear ellies, no matter what size or style they hurt my feet and squish my toes or are too big and slide around. i've tried and tried bc all the cutest shoes at my favorite shop are ellie brand but they are not made for my foot shape or something. i'm close to your size (6)

Ellies tend to run a little wider than Pleasers (contributing to toes sliding forward if you have narrow feet). I'd actually try the 7 pleaser if 7 is your size because they should fit true.

In another pair of Ellies you will likely have to size down due to width.

Ellie might not work for you, they are actually made for wider feet.

The only shoes you can stretch with a hair dryer are the clear strap, or similar colored vinyls strap that don’t have stitching.

I am a 6.5 and I wear a 6 in stripper heels, you mentioned your foot slips forward, that’s what mine does in a 7 so i wouldn’t go up if i were you. I make custom shoes for girls so I know how The differently named styles within the brands fit differently and I know a few that I don’t like for myself personally. You may have just picked one that doesn’t work for you or your foot. I would suggest trying one that DOES have the clear straps exactly because those straps stretch more easily. Also for me, the double strap style in pleaser is a superior fit for me, you might try it.

Broader straps will cut less. More strap surface area --> weight and pressure are distributed over more surface area, causing fewer hot spots.

These aren't the sexiest heels, but they look great with my athletic legs, and i wouldn't have had a dancing career without them. Potential lifesavers for newbs, even if you just wear them until you get used to working:

Those saved my life too, until I discovered chunky heeled tall boots. My first pair of stripper shoes were chrome with black rhinestoned straps, and a spike heel. They were the only ones in the shop in my size that had ankle straps and I was in a bit of a pinch. Beautiful as stripper shoes go, but I could not handle The Spikes! Bambi Stripper, indeed!

    God bless chunky heels.

Right!! Like, i could walk in spike heels... barely. But dance, hustle, strut confidently, transition from floor work to standing, walk across uneven surfaces...? Hell naw. I'd rather wear a less sexy heel and not have to think about them during a shift than wear a super sexy heel and have that be my only focus.

My biggest concern is how long they will last LOL. Maybe it's just me, but the clear heel straps have been giving out in around 2 weeks so I wind up cutting the plastic top part off and wearing them as strapless heels.

lol i need new ones every 4 weeks, they just start looking dingy and get smelly. tmi sorry. i buy pleaser size 9 online and they always fit. some do hurt on the side sometimes, and i find the booties stretch and get too loose. i rotate different shoes, so if you have a spot on your feet thats hurting with one shoe, wear a different pair next shift so that spot can heal.

Body odors arise when body oils and secretions come in contact with bacteria. So like, taking your shoes off during dances can really expose you to a lot of bacteria = foot odor. You can get aerosol Lysol antibacterial spray for your shoes, just use lightly—but also you can get antibacterial soap to use on your most yucky parts, Dial Gold is the best. Consider also that cleaning is a mechanical process where you need to physically scrub bacteria from your body. A foot brush can help you with this A LOT, but the brush will need to be sanitized regularly.

I am licensed in hair and nails and these are true facts that can help you keep your feet clean and smelling better. Even if you don’t believe me, you have nothing to lose, only the life of your shoes and less foot odor to gain.
