Default When you move, whats your experience been?

I feel like a lot of dancers move around a lot... mostly out of boredom, wanting a change of pace or if travel dancing has even gotten old.

I have travel danced a lot..in enough places to generally know where I will and will not make money.

I recently found an opportunity to move into a big house in the forest by the coast that I could potentially buy in a few years if all goes well with my business' outside of dancing. But I need to make it thru this next year or so of dancing before Ill know where my incomes fall... this house is small town, the closest clubs would be in Portland (2 hr drive) ; which I could do on weekends maybe if I needed ??
Or, I could just fly to Texas or CO. and travel dance once a month or every other month for a week... so basically Ill just dance in a different state.

What has been girls experiences with moves?? Does your income fluctuate a lot or do you feel stable?
Also, if anyone travel dances outside of their living state, do you find it stressful? are you able to do it easily and not stress too much about finances?

Let me know.. this house could be a great opportunity, but I don't wanna shoot myself in the foot.
I just need to get out of Colorado this middle america shit is killing my spirit.

I would say that if you have a lot of money saved/invested and are ready to quit, do it. Maybe dance on the side for fun and for extra cash but don't expect to make bank and be ready for a huge let-down as you transition from your lucrative home base to unfamiliar territory. Maybe you're as beautiful as you think you are, but just be prepared for your new dancing environment to tame your ego. Of course, if you move, I'd hope that you continue to be successful if you continue to dance, just realize it's a huge risk. If you're confident that you can still make very good income travel-dancing based on your past experience, then why even ask the question?

Forest by the coast out in the northwest? Are you ready for no sunshine and tons of rain except in summer? It's going to be a phenomenally depressing weather pattern just warning you.

Also...lots and lots of weirdoes. Washington and Oregon absorbed all the riff raff that got gentrified out of the San Fran Bay Area. (Sorry, Pac NW!)

The hinderances I have is when dancing isn’t clean and it’s almost expected to do more that is where I don’t succeed and cannot make money. Not consistently anyhow. So I have to be careful where I move, and yes i have worked with the hottest girls in Vegas and NYC so I’m aware of what’s out there. I just want a place that has some consistency as it’s the only reason I’ve stayed in CO

Also that’s not a reality yet. I am self funding my companies and my revenues DO NOT match dancing yet I will retire when they do, but I’m working on it. I need to dance to help fund everything tho mobile apps etc are not cheap.

I wouldn't feel stable with solely dancing because the business is so inconsistent, now. And I would try to choose a schedule with traveling during the best time to make money for you from a club.

I would prioritize what is most important for me in the long-term; then choose dancing as a option.

I would travel while knowing that I have something consistent to return to. Stay focused on your long-term goal/s. And you may have to sacrifice immediate happiness.

I would travel knowing that I have something consistent to return to. Stay focused on your long-term goal/s. And you may have to sacrifice immediate happiness.

So you may want to travel 3 months straight max or every month or every season.

And have you been able to find a "sugar daddy" or an investor to help you fund your goal/s or businesses? I would mention this to a person that wants to see you succeed and you're okay with telling.
