    Default Stage Show

Today most stage shows are filled with typical undressing, some twerking/pole tricks and the occasional themed costume set (such as school girl, cheerleader, cop or nurse)

Have you ever seen any stage shows that particularly stood out to you? Something where you knew the girl put a little thought into it, to make it stand out more from the ordinary?

I was thinking this over, and in my time dancing, not a single show has ever stood out to me. They've all been basic stages. Nothing wrong with that of course! Putting effort into stage doesn't always mean more money. I'm just curious.

aside from amazing pole tricks and choreography, there's not much else you can do. i have seen 2+ girls get together to do some crazy tricks but that's not always allowed.

every once in a while i see a girl attempting to do some sort of "burlesque" type show and it always looks out of place and over the top. never seen anyone make it rain on any of those girls either.

I work in an area where feature-style shows are the norm. So we see a lot of aerial, fire, paint, that kinda thing. Last night a girl doing a teacher outfit set was doing this thing where if guys tipped a large bill she'd staple them to herself so that was interesting.

That being said Idk if it matters. I feel like if customers are there to tip the show itself doesn't matter much. You can do the most amazing show ever and if the guys aren't there to spend, you're leaving stage with nothing, when other times a few twerks get rained on by the right people.

    ^^^^ Agreed.

It's about the culture of the club or area, and the mindset of the customers in particular. Some people can watch you contort yourself into a human cube at the top of the pole, or spectacularly twerk every single muscle in your body, and they will think it's the most wondermous thing they have ever seen ... but still not worth their precious tip money.

I think it's more important to find a good balance between pleasing the audience (whatever the audience is like at a given time) and what pleases you as a performer. Your purpose on stage is to entertain and advertise, and to do those things, you need to be able to connect with the people watching you.

Like I wrote in my original post, I know cool performances don't necessarily mean more money. I was just interested in the topic.

One of my stripping mentors could do a backwards somersault in high heels on stage. She actually did it in front of me and would do funny theme stage sets once she had made her money for the evening.

BUT these days all the money is in VIP and there's no point in knocking yourself out on the pole if you can scratch up a couple grand in VIP. Like, save the pole tricks for a pole dance class. Go make money at work and don't worry about being the coolest stripster in the building.

we had a pole champion who worked at our humble club for a good while and she could do the "flagpole" move like arms stretched out going right around the pole horizontally, it was epic tbh but people just sat wide-eyed rather than tipping her.
