    Default Getting sick after work

    So I have this issue and I知 wondering how common this is and if it痴 common at all or maybe just a me problem.
    Everytime I work three days in a row, I get sick with cold symptoms. I develop caugh, runny nose and sneezing. I work 6 hour shifts at night and I run around hustling a lot. I give my all on stage. By day 2 I知 extremely tired and if I push myself to come in on day 3, I just know I値l get physically sick again. This only happens when I strip. When I took a 4year break, I got sick maybe 3 times the whole time.
    Does anyone else experience this? How do you fight it?

    Being around people more often, shared space, and then lowered immune system from stress

    get rest, lower stress, and eat healthier

    I don't think it's from physical exertion I think it's because you're getting in close contact with a lot of people. It's going to happen especially this time of year.

    Do you have allergies? I think girls who are sensitive to the dirty work environment get sick a lot.
    Maybe Take some vitamin C and/or Allegra?

    Yea, you need to drink green smoothies everyday or gulp down either Naked Brand (Green Machine) or Bolthouse Farms Brand (Green Goddess) of green juice.

    Also, like another poster posted upthread, vitamin c and zinc.

    Tea, yogi brand immune system booster (echinacea immune support, tulsi spiced). Also their detox teas (berry detox, peach detox) Even, cold season and breathe deep.

    Protein deficiency? Antibodies require protein. Would only be an issue if you have dietary restrictions or insufficient caloric intake (or both).. I'd get sick constantly when i was a raw vegan in college. Add that to stripping, which exposes you to sooooo many germs... nightmare!

    Just throwing it out there as a fringe suggestion.

    Anemia can also result in fatigue and exhaustion, of course...

    Definitely would look at diet and basic self care for improvement, based on your description. Sounds like you're working a lot, which can result in all sorts of oversights when it comes to the basics!

    Bring alcohol spray to wipe surfaces you touch the most, be cautious with your hands and wash your hands frequently. Strip clubs are dirty environments and you probably have a low immune system

    Is it a smoking club or do they have fog machines or CO2 bursts? When I work in clubs like that my sinuses freak out.

    Also.. if a club has a dirty stage I will always be stuffed up after the first stage set. Could be that too.

    Only starving people are protein deficient, protein makes up almost everything that we eat. It's VERY hard for anyone in the first world to be protein deficient, most people ARE vitamin deficient however, especially people who do not eat a well-rounded diet or take supplements.

    Take a multivitamin, drink LOTS of vegetable juices, don't smoke or drink, and make sure you lower your stress levels as much as possible, like do whatever you need to do in order to stay stress free.

    This sounds like allergies or a reaction to fog machines, vaping or something of that nature. A cold virus takes several days (5-7, I think) to incubate so it's not possible to get sick from a viral infection in 2 days. It's also not bacterial or it wouldn't go away so easily.
