Has anyone ever diy-ed pasties to be slightly absorbent or something? Usually my top absorbs whatever milk leaks and it’s not noticeable or damp to the touch. I’ve never worn pasties so I have no idea if this is possible. Any ideas?

Can you put cotton balls or round make up remover pads underneath the pasties?
These are the kinda of ideas I hadn’t thought of, maybe I’ll try cutting a nursing pad smaller or maybe even a panty liner cuz they are thin yet absorbent. I don’t own any pasties yet, but I’ll order some and give it a shot!
I've never thought of pasties for nursing boobs. I'm not sure that they are suitable for breastfeeding. I wore the Lily Pad nursing pad nipple shield things while I was breastfeeding and they worked. I suppose that it would depend on the material of the pasties. If it was made of a material like satin then milk would probably soak through them and then they would be useless. You're going to want a silicone material. It's funny that you mentioned a panty liner because I have used that before in a pinch when I ran out of the Lily Pad nipple shields. I just cut the panty liner into a circle shape and stuck it over the nips.
I’ll have to try those out! I’d never heard of them before. Might try cutting a small circle out of a panty liner or a thin nursing pad and putting under the pasties where they’re not adhesive and seeing how that looks and behaves just at home before I take it to the club.
Good idea on the the trial run/trying that out before working in the club. I hope the panty liner or nursing pad under the pasties idea works. Good luck, mama!![]()
I think the use of plain cotton balls can help.
