I'll take a trip to the bathroom, maybe. I haven't followed football this year. The food, though, could entice me.

    SLIDERS!!!

    Stuff

    1/2 teaspoon onion powder

    1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

    1/2 teaspoon kosher salt

    1 pound ground chuck

8 (3-inch) buns or rolls, split in half

    Optional

    Jalapenos diced

    Pepper jack cheese

Small tomatoes (I forget what they're called, Roma? The little ones) Sliced.

    Some iceberg Lettuce.

    Some Bacon.

    Directions

Preheat the oven to 250 degrees F. Preheat a griddle to 350 degrees F.

Combine the onion powder, garlic powder, pepper, and salt in a small bowl. Set aside.

Line a jellyroll or sheet pan with parchment paper, and place the ground chuck in the middle of the pan. Cover the meat with a large sheet of plastic wrap. Roll meat with a rolling pin until it covers the surface of the pan; it should be very thin. Remove the plastic wrap, and sprinkle the meat with the seasoning mixture. Fold the meat in half, from side to side, using the parchment paper. Use a pizza cutter to cut the meat into 8 even squares.

Wrap the buns in tin-foil and place in the oven for 5 to 10 minutes. Meanwhile, place the burgers on the griddle and cook for 2 to 3 minutes per side.

Remove the buns from the oven. Spread a small amount of mayonnaise on each bun and top with the burger and any other condiments, as desired. Serve immediately.

    # 1/2 teaspoon salt

    And the masterstroke...

    Taco Pizza

    Stuff

1 large size tortilla (You can also use a pizza crust, but you'll want to crisp it first by cooking it by itself for ten minutes or so)

1/4 cup fat free re-fried beans (I skip this, hate them, but it's up to you, i just think they were fried right the first time)

1/2 cup of our favorite salsa (30g)

    pinch of salt

about 1/4 cup diced bell peppers (I used a mix of red and green)

1/4 cup diced Jalepeno Peppers (If you like it spicel like me use a 1/2 cup).

1 oz Cheddar cheese (or Mexican cheese blend)

Sprinkle chili powder and dried cilantro

    About 1lb of hamburger

    A bottle of Taco sauce

    1 can Black Olives

1 Taco seasoning mix pouch you can get at any supermarket

About 2 handfuls of shredded lettuce.

    1 small tomato, diced.

    Optional

    Sour Cream (ick!)

    Chives

    Directions

    Preheat oven to 425 degrees.

Crumble and cook the Hamburger and cook it like you were making Tacos, with the seasoning. Mix in the diced Jalepenos after the juices start running clear. Simmer.

Pierce the tortilla with a knife a few times and bake for about 2 minutes until crispier.

Use Taco sauce they way you'd use Pizza sauce, smear it on the Tortilla/Pizza crust. If you are gross and like refried beans, apply a thin coat of the slime on top (YUCK!)

Mix the taco meat, salsa and salt together really well. Smear it on the tortilla. top with the peppers, black olives, and cheese. Bake for about 5 minutes.

After pulling it out of the oven sprinkle with chili powder and cilantro. Top it all off with the shredded lettuce and diced tomato.

    Your welcome.

When you cut it, it usually doesn't do well in slices. Do squares.

Thanks for the warning. The good news is, once that's over, no more football for almost a year. The bad news, fucking basketball. Though we don't seem to get as many of those fans in the club.

For those who are die hard football fans, it was a masterful game from a defensive standpoint. And for all the people drinking hatorade right now...

It was a boring game and boring halftime show. The Patriots defense played great, but the Rams' receiver dropped a catchable pass in the end-zone. It should have been the Patriots against the Saints.

I could see how some more casual fans might not have appreciated the outstanding defensive play. The NFL has been trying to change the rules to encourage higher scoring games, but what we saw yesterday was a classic with two dominant defenses putting constant pressure on the QBs.

As far as that catchable pass, I agree to an extent, but the defense played a part in braking up that catch. Goff was as much to blame as the receiver for hanging the ball up there so long. If he had thrown a pass with more zip and less arc, that would have been an uncontested TD.

I didn't think it was boring, at all.

    43-0 is boring.

Interesting side note, lowest scoring Super Bowl ever, yet highest margin of victory for Patriots Super Bowl

I noticed during the game, the few crowd shots were all Pats fans.

Now if we could only arrange a Lakers Celtics final.......

Brees vs Brady would have been good! Conspiracy theorists say the NFL wanted the Rams because LA is the next biggest market (After NY), they just put up a stadium bigger and more costly than Disneyland...

Considering the ages of the two coaches and QBs, (Rams had youngest coach to bring a team to SB vs Bill B, then the 2 quarterback's ages...)
I'm going with old age and treachery overcoming youth and enthusiasm once again. ;-)

Looks like the Patriots' owner celebrated his team's Superbowl win by going to see prostitutes at an Asian massage parlor.

IMO this case proves the Novelty aspect can be counted on to make an adult industry worker's day financially. & That it's true, wealthy men can be very cheap.

Back on topic- the Dallas Cowboys were doing equally scandalous things in their 1990s heyday and no one blinked.
