I realize a lot of this just stems from me not accepting myself. I really don't have an issue with my body, it is a blessing. I am 36 and have a nicer body than most 20 year olds, without killing myself in the gym..but there lies the problem...
Due to my naturally skinny frame, I never developed a fitness routine in all of these years. Ladies, I must start now. Just because I am skinny does not mean I am completely healthy or fit.
I am not pecking at myself, but my posture and core need major work from being a camgirl all of these years. I go in and out of fitness routines the past 3 years, never really sticking with one. I love doing yoga, taking weighted walks, etc..but weight lifting dear lord. I really will not stick with a routine if I do not like it.
I am happy with myself and my appearance, I really do pass for 10 years younger, but in my fantasy mind my fantasy body would be to add a few pounds of muscle and get that fitness model look. I can mold this body any way I wish, but yes I am lazy and yes I am looking for that quick fix. At least I admit it.
I did not work out for a few months, but I have been doing yoga and weighted walks for about 2 months now, to build strength. I am going to begin doing body weight exercises (with a resistance band) and then hit those weights by the end of the month. I have the patience for this and do enjoy body weight exercises.
I have eaten upwards of 2500 calories a day and not put on a pound in the past. I have a very high metabolism. I am 5'3 and weigh about 98 lbs right now. I have a great friend who is a personal trainer who guided me to consume more calories and my body weight in protein (100 grams). I have a difficult time consuming all of these calories a day and all of the protein, so I am going to begin supplementing and have in the past with few results. At this stage, I am certain I have not seen results cause obviously I never stuck with my fitness regimen. But you would think I would have gained a little body fat, nope.
I know with mere yoga and body weight exercises I will only prepare my body for weight lifting. I tone up but do not add muscle gains.
I currently am eating a very high protein/carb based diet and have at least 5 glasses of milk a day to get those calories in. I take a carb supplement known as carbo gain along with creatine as instructed in my pre workout shake, but I am learning the carbo gain is not the best thing to be consuming. After my work out, I then take a vegan protein powder/carbo gain shake to ensure my body is getting all of the protein it needs. I do notice that my carb/creatine shake post work out does help me out during the work out. Due to dairy though, and the creatine I am noticing a lot of bloat and it is expected. I also take a multivitamin and I am taking a supplement to help with blood sugar spikes and inflammation because consuming all of the carbs, dairy will cause blood sugar spikes and working out causes inflammation. I started taking this supplement known as berberine to combat acne and it has helped so much, but it turns out it helps me in this process as well for those reasons. For some reason, whenever I take weight gainers with whey I break out really bad, so I chose a vegan protein powder, and although I have been consuming more dairy I have not gotten any break outs.
When I am ready to hit those weights, I would like to see results ASAP. If I do not see the results, I do give up. I have been reading a lot about legal steroids for this reason. I am really interested in the stack I see on amazon for women. It seems though, most of the legal roids for women are mostly geared for cutting rather than bulking. I will make my own decision, but what would you fitness gurus of SW suggest? Me sticking with my current supplements, or due to wanting quick results seriously consider legal roids?
Have any of you taken legal roids or a supplement that help women develop curvier bodies with results? I have also been considering MACA root or similar supplements on amazon that help women develop curvier bodies and gain weight in the right places (hips, tits, ass) Both types of supplements are full of synthetic hormones and that kinda makes me iffy, but so is all of the meat and dairy I am consuming lol.
I will continue to work on my body either way as I am 36 and want to age gracefully. My goal is to simply look and feel my best. The current diet and supp routine I am on can make me feel a lil blah some days but I still press on and get my workouts in.
