Yea, cause here, you won't pass emission inspections w/CEL.

Or just get a Sugar Daddy Mechanic, LOL
I'd rather get a portable battery starter, what's a good one? Was looking on Amazon, O'Reilly, etc.
I don't want to plug it in

Evap system. Yeah, it can clear codes, and if the DTC doesn’t return, that’s one thing. You could’ve disconnected the battery for 30 minutes and done the same. They’re useful IF you know what to do to troubleshoot the issue and IF diagnosing the issue doesn’t require two-way functions. If someone wants to buy one and use it for what it’s for, then they should have a shop manual or an AllData/ProDemand subscription.

One that doesn’t use lithium-ion batteries from China.

    ACOB, Rocks!!! TY!

Ok. I found the problem, or rather my new mechanic did!

I had a leaking wndshield, which I'd had re-sealed, some damn sensor was beyond corroded & moisture in it from that.
The car started fine (@ least 50 X's) yesterday during the day.

I left it over night, it didn't start, & they found the prob!
ACOB is totally right, all the codes popped up yet again.

Anyway, waiting for a part tb delivered, then installed. Looking @ later this afternoon.

I knw this thread's a PIA to some, but it might help SOMEbody!
