I know there were some affixes late in Legion that never paired with each other. Are there things like that that the team is avoiding this time around? It's actually a fixed list of hand-picked or hand-crafted affix combinations that come up every week. So we have control over that. We will absolutely pull things out of there and put new ones in. I know other affix combinations that we've seen are like, okay, maybe this is maybe too easy. You can get a really high keystone when this combination comes up and you drop down way too far in the following week. That can start to feel like , "Well, we pushed our keystone really high and now we have this keystone level that we can't even see this week." That's when it starts to feel like we should step in and maybe look at adjusting something somewhere.

Is Fortified and Teeming something that you're looking at for this season? We haven't adjusted it. Something that I think was interesting with that combination particularly: We've seen seasonal affixes and how they impact players' approach to the dungeons. Once Infested got into the mix at level 10, that actually did in some cases some pretty punishing pulls that just felt like, "Oh my gosh. How do we even do this?"

Part of the fun of these seasonal affixes is that Infested is going to go away and Reaping is going to come in. So in Legion, if that were the case, we would have absolutely probably made some adjustments. But the system is hopefully going to take care of itself as Infested goes away and Reaping comes in. Some of those situations that players have found that feel a little punishing are just going to no longer appear in the dungeons starting in Season 2.

Are monsters summoned by Reaping affected by Fortified, which increases damage done and health? Reaping creatures don't gain Fortified themselves, but the way everything works is that the creature will spawn with half the health of the creature that dies, so in that regard it gets a small percentage of Fortified. But it doesn't have increased damage, it's just how much health the thing has?

So as people naturally gravitate towards one dungeon or another during weeks when affixes favor them, one complaint players make is that there is now no easy mechanic for re-rolling keys. So there are keys that folks must do, knowing full well that it's going to take them forever and they're going to fail, specifically so that they can get another key for another dungeon one level lower at the end, that might present them with what they consider to be a little bit more of a fun challenge for this week.
