So, I want to sell some clothes & stuff..
Really, except for maybe a designer purse, & 1 pr shoes, nothing over $40-ish..
I kinda hate ebay. No to cl.
What do YOU suggest?
Thanks a lot!

Maybe sell your stuff on Le Prix or Tradesy? I know these companies specialized in selling more super high-end items but they maybe worth an look?![]()

PoshMark app is user friendly but they take a % of your sale $
FaceBook groups are great to sell items but sometimes their system is glitchy.
Consignment stores offer anywhere from a fourth to half the value of an item. Not always the most profitable way to offload an item.

Thanks, I've bought from PM, they're kinda a pain.
I don't like FB, although my one neighbor got some really nice couches there, for $10.!
I may just try ebay, they're good for the weird, quirky (but cool) stuff I have.

What about Amazon? I heard they are pretty good, and better than Ebay.

Mercari is great. Much better than Poshmark. I've made over 100 sales on Mercari.

I flip clothes on Poshmark part time. I love the platform there, just not the 20% they take. I also cross-list to Mercari & Ebay.
I love Poshmark but Mercari might be best for you if you're only looking to do this one time to get rid of some stuff. Just list it and forget it. There's less bullshit and haggling on Mercari since there's no offer system. The shipping rates just went up though & you have to make sure you select the right weight and be careful with packaging (first class can't go in priority boxes and vice versa). I've had a lot of trouble with getting my $$ released too, the buyers often disappear and don't 'rate' their package so I have to keep emailing Mercari to release the funds after 3 days.
I like that Posh is a flat fee up to 5 pounds (though that can deter buyers on cheap items) and auto-releases your $$. Certain brands seem to sell much better on Posh vs. Mercari too, depends what you have.
