    Angry Im outraged

And literally my general mood on everything is everyone is tripping out and needs to calm down bc shits not that big of a deal.

Okay i went off on a tangent i deleted my last three paragraphs hahah sorry for the diary post if you dont want to read my ramble stop reading after the ——-/ lol

    But this article

    https://www.lamag.com/citythinkblog/...tripper-union/

i typed a novel of a comment and instead decided not to post it and to come on here and share it, sorry if its been posted already but im feeling so many things about this that i went right into “what i have to say is important so i dont need to search to see 50 identical posts in the last 14 day” mode

what im outraged about is the manager of crazy girls quote
incase you dont feel like clicking the article his quote is

Crazy Girls’ management blames the doorstep protest on prospective dancers that get rejected and current dancers that get disciplined. “I just know we have a lot of girls that get upset, that doesn’t get hired, or when they’re problematic inside the club,” says Sergio Blandino, general manager of Crazy Girls.

“They try to retaliate and try to sue or try to protest, or go to go to the news or write papers or Instagram bash,” he says. “But a lot of these girls—I mean, they’re exotic dancers, you know what I mean? So they’re all opportunists. Those are the girls that they’ll do anything for a money bag.”

how can someone whose livelyhood depends on the very job he just used to remove credibility from these woman ? If thats how you feel about dancers how can you manage them? You have decided because theyre dancers the things they say arent true or real. They are lesser as people they are not credible. How can you say that to defend yourself against dancers saying clubs treat them like shit and dont feel the need to pay them fairly. He literally proved everything the girls were protesting. Blow them off , theyre dancers dont listen to those sluts but has no problem profiting from the work they do. Pimp mentality. Make the females work , treat them like nothing, make statements to aid the public in viewing them as nothing so they have to feel ashamed of their jobs of themselves so that they lose their self worth and allow you to take half or more of the money they are earning, and feel lucky they have a place to work.

I have so much to say about this. I hate that people think of strippers or even pornstars even prostitutes as less than others. Pornstars especially the “theres no coming back from that” the constant shame that is what feeds the dark parts of this industry. It doesnt need to be this way. I see it, i literally dont take a stance on anything. Im sort of self absorbed and not currently dancing but ive danced for years. Ive seen the industry from all different angles ive seen many girls ruin their lives in a club and ive seen girls do amazing things in the same club. That quote has me straight up emotional. That attitude does not belong in this industry but that attitude is whats taking over.

Clubs like jumbos even star garden the people who run those places run it clean and they respect their girls and take them seriously and the customers leave five star yelp reviews and arent complaing about “worthless air dances” and “low milage” mind you the girls arent bragging about 1000s every night, but especially jumbos people respect those girls as entertainers, they dont call them sex workers they happily go there and tip at the stage knowing theyre not gunna get anything more than a show. There is a reason the mentality is different. You go to a club run like most clubs now and you see vulnerable girls who hear the mostily false stories of easy huge piles of money who have finally reached the point of the need of money overcoming the fear of people finding out and no longer thinking the same of them trying to improve their lives being literally naked and vulnerable for a crowd of people realizing that they are being judged and these people are judging how much they are worth to them. How much money they give you is your worth that day and managment takes a cut so these numbers become all that you are and unless you are in a miracle of a club , or have a super strong stable sense of self and are able to keep that above everything else, its what causes the extras. When managers want 120 house fees and you to tip out everyone also dancers pay the djs so the club doesnt have to i can say in clubs of that set up i have left with $35 so many times that if i wasnt so awkward and affraid everyone was an undercover police officer i have literally PRAYED TO BE BRAVE ENOUGH TO START DOING EXTRAS. Shit in all honesty ive done things that have made me take extended breaks from dancing and really evalute myself and i think im a really strong intelligent person. I know im a good entertainer i like being an entertainer and ive fallen into this cycle of shit. Im ranting and if anyone is actually still reading this I apologize and thank you hahah i have sooo much more to say but most reading this probably know it too well. But its really time we stop accepting this. It wont change until we change. Too many of us change negatively. Crossing our personal boundaries to make up for the fees clubs charge us. Working for people who dont respect us bc the other clubs dont seem to make as much money. They need us more than we need them, theyve just put in our minds the opposite and made exploitation normal to us.

Aside from just being an asshole, I think he is entirely wrong. IME, the girls who are 'crazy inside the club' aren't organized enough to go through getting a lawyer & suing.

My take on it: The clubs are just pissed and frustrated that they can no longer walk all over us. Girls are wising up and saying "hey this isn't legal or fair". The club is wrong, every time. I have yet to see a club win a suit. If you were to file as a misclassed employee with the IRS, you would win on the determination of the dancers being necessary and integral for the business to exist. Managers & owners know these things and they are pissed the fuck off that we caught on.

The easiest thing for them to do is marginalize us & make us out to be the villains or the greedy ones. Irony at its finest though.

Ive actually never heard anything bad about crazy girls and was under the impression that its not easy to get hired there but once hired its a good place to work. Ive actually heard positive things about the managment. But the these girls are strippers comment as if stripping makes whatever theyre talking about less credible and something to just blow off by the MANAGER ?
Like i dont understand how someone who manages a club can make a public statement dissing and more or less shaming the people for their job when hes managing them. Even if these issues werent happening or shit if bitches were just tripping and being crazy as a manager of that establishment and someone working in an industry with a sour public image to make a public statement of this nature in any other place of work would be a pr nightmare and hed be fired. But no one even commented on the fact the boss of these girls just talked about them the way someone would dismiss a toddler having a tantrum over a lollipop.
Im being a drama queen about it and being one of those offended people i ussually dont understand, but a manager of a strip club talking about strippers like that I just feel is fucked up on a much deeper level then the issue he was refering to.
It feeds the image of adult entertainers being damaged and bad people undeserving of being treated the same as anyone else. And a step down for the people working so hard to change the exploitation and bring legitimacy to adult work. Dancers , pornstars , escorts are not only verbally attacked for their job by their entire highschool class (sounds dumb but you guys know what i mean how many of you became “the stripper” to people you knew) and random people , they have to stress about dating and telling their partner, even if theyre literally just dancing no extras dancers have to worry about a someones feelings about them changing just like that. But our society also has bred such a stigma that violent attacks by strangers , being raped or sexually assaulted, and being followed home by people are so commonly heard even murder. A lot of the us’s killing sprees are commited by people targeting sex workers or entertainers and a big reason for that is because no one views them as people anymore. Just strippers. Just some slut asking for it. This statement feeds that type of mentality and the fact that its coming from someone in charge of these girls. Im not saying hed do that or wants that to happen but when a higher up inside of a club puts down his employees and encourages the public not to listen to them cant trust strippers what type of message is that giving people ?

I totally agree with you! I also sense there's a conflict in management there.

I’ve heard several negative things about CGH. From them not hiring dark skin girls to shortening set times or skipping some girls on stage to get their favorites on the main stage faster. They also force you to promote via social media.

    Hey, drunk is honest lol.

You aren't being dramatic. That's exactly what they want you to think. It's complete trash to talk about your dancers that way. Juxtapose it to a different industry - if it still sounds shitty, that's because it's shitty no matter what business.

If, in response to complaints, my SO waved his hand and said "Oh they're just line cooks" those guys would be outraged and riot in the parking lot.

It's because of the stigma with dancing that managers think they can get away with saying that shit. Its basically gaslighting, they convince girls they're being dramatic if they get upset.

Luckily the public is becoming less anti sex worker... I think the tide is slowly turning our way.

True. And, the line cooks would riot in the parking lot and then set the fryers aflame.

People in general don't understand how local politics work in CA. The changes in the strip clubs there is a repeating cycle from about 2 decades ago. & Frankly the strip clubs have been there for so long, the average resident barely blinks at them.
