Skull How much is too much

How many shots/ drinks do you have before work? I know girls who “pregame” with their real life friends at the bar before going in to work. I personally find 3 shots gives me the confidence and courage to engage with my clientele and be more exciting than I normally am. This isn’t meant to shame anyone btw

I don't drink before going to work. I do drink during my shift if a customer buys me drinks.

If you're too afraid or insecure to do this job without getting intoxicated, you shouldn't be doing it at all. That's how a lot of dancers end up with a drinking problem.

I never had more than two drinks on a shift, and I would make them last as long as possible. 99% of the time I drink water with the occasional OJ or redbull. The rare times I was offered champagne, I employed every delaying and stealth-dumping trick I knew. Alcohol's nothing more than empty calories anyway, and makes it easier for customers to take advantage of you.

I don’t drink before or during. Not for the sake of being a teetotaler. I just can’t handle alcohol at all.

Strip clubs are partying environments. Not that I can’t do my job without liquor. I prefer to drink as it gives me characteristics sober me does not possess lol.

Yes and so is a nightclub but the waitresses and bartenders aren't working tipsy at those.

I occasionally have a single glass of champagne at work. That's it. The girls who drink more either waste most of their night partying (or at the least by forgetting to hustle) or get into trouble somehow.

I am staunchly of the opinion that having to drink before work means you shouldn't be doing the job.

I've worked both drunk and sober and I make more money sober. If you can't do this job sober, you can't do this job period.

    I'd agree.

I drink at work but it's to make drink quota.

The problem with drinking before during and after shift is you start having problems over time, whether it be DUIs, puking in the corners of VIP booths, or waking up in a ditch with a sore butth*le and sticky hair.

I back what everyone else said about drinking. I’m not always a saint either, but I do make sure I’m sober by the end of a shift. (Or avoid driving)

Also remember that every day is a learning opportunity. It’s easy to reflect on what went right and wrong with customers when you remember it all clearly. Which will build your confidence with or without the alcohol

I don't ever drink before work, but I drink if someone buys me a drink. I have maybe 3 or 4 drinks during a shift but I only drink if the customer is spending money. There's no sense in ending up drunk, sloppy and tired at the end of the night with not enough money. I start feeling a bit lazy after a certain point

Too much = when you’re not alert about your surroundings, when you lose track if time/money, when problems start occurring, when you can’t drive home at the end

the younger girls with party mentality leave a lot of money on the table cause they’re too focused on getting twisted than hustling
