Note to self, body glitter is good evidence.

Because she could afford a lawyer, and because the lawyer knew she could pay her legal bill. That's the sad lesson. She made the money fairly and correctly. The guns and sizzurp maybe not so much but that's immaterial to the cash. They seized the cash, which was incorrect and illegal, but they assumed the couple wouldn't be able to respond and would be terrified. The couple got legal help, and the lawyer knew he'd get the 5k fees he wants to charge, so he worked diligently.

    LOL at "sizzurp".

I've been saying it for years, having money to pay for legal representation will save your grass in the adult industry.

That's anyone - in 2010 I spent $177k on legal, primarily on one case, which I won, and have never been able to collect the judgment. But yes, for adult, it is absolutely imperative.

Love how cops can seize cash and then make the owner prove it was legally obtained.

I think it's stupid for anyone to be carrying that much cash on them. You never know what could happen. I am glad to see someone in the adult industry who didn't have her money stolen by LE, for once. LE has habit of loving to steal cash from those of us in the adult entertainment industry. Note to self: start putting glitter on all my cash. Seriously though, people should have a fire-proof safe hidden in their home for cash-saving purposes.
