    Default Montana for the summer

I’m thinking of taking my dog and moving to Montana for the summer-probably Missoula based off the research I’ve done so far.

I love nature and the outdoors, and want to get away from the bigger cities I’ve lived/worked in lately such as PDX and LA.

Does anyone have any insight to working or even just living in Montana for the summer? I know there are only a handful of clubs..... If anyone else is headed there and interested in a hiking buddy for the summer, feel free to message me.

I'm thinking of heading to Montana this summer! I was thinking about trying Fred's near Missoula. I'm currently in pdx.
I only visited last summer so I don't have any real insight, but Bozeman is a lot cuter than Missoula I think haha. My friend who used to live in Bozeman was telling me to try buffalo jump?

Following. May join some of you ladies up there in July or so - it tends to be too damn cold for me until about then.

I used to road trip to Montana all the time. This info is a few years old but I can't imagine its changed a huge amount - its Montana after all. Both Freds and the Fox Lounge in Missoula were booked by the same booker so you could get on shifts at both. I believe they are called Strippers 101. I would usually do a mix at the two clubs, both have good money potential. There is also Planet Lockwood in Billings, which is kind of a gross club on the inside but it has high earning potential as well. You schedule directly through the owner. I haven't heard good things about any of the other Montana towns.

I really liked Lockwood. I was there a while ago though.

Playground Strip Club in Great Falls MT is still open last I heard but changed their name according to SCL. So call and check before you head that way.

    ( info a few years old )
Teasers was easy and travel dancer friendly .

Update 2 ( again my info is a few years old )
I " auditioned " with a text photo ( with copyright info watermarked over it ) , not the lap dance in the office referenced below. That seems a little creepy for sure. Maybe offer to text instead and see if he will still do it ?

Thanks for all the replies, Yeah I’ve been wondering if Bozeman might be better because Missoula seems pretty small .... please any of you feel free to reach out to me if you head out there! All this info is really helpful and I appreciate it.

I'm going to be totally honest- if you fit the "Hollywood Stripper" stereotype look management will love you but some customers in MT can be very bigoted or even straight up racist. (A lot of neo-Nazi groups have a presence in Montana and Idaho.) Clubs in Montana are way harder on fat girls than they are on women of color. They (the club managers) know WOC appeal to strip club spenders so they accommodate.

In my experience (years of time spent in the Rockies) being a hot female will help you a lot in most social situations. BUT you will run into people who are "redneckish"...cold or even hateful/creepy. Just trust your intuition about how to deal with these people.

I used to take strip trips up to Missoula. The last time I went they told me that if I wanted to come again I would have to get a license from the city to be an independent contractor. It costs about $200 but you have to make fliers or business cards. I didn't want to have to register as a dancer with any govt agencies so I decided against going back. But if you decide do go, theyll probably let you work for a week or so without the license. I love love loved it the girls are incredibly nice and I consistently made $300/night which for me wasn't too bad for summer time. It was a lot better than I could make at my home club in the summer. Also you can find an Airbnb for literally $20 a night so it made for a very cheap trip. I wish I could go back without getting a license
Do your future self a favor and work hard now.

What club did you work at there? Are they tattoo friendly?

I am so glad I came across this! To answer some of the questions above, I am from MT but have danced in Vegas and then recently relocated back to MT. Montana I found to be more difficult, actually than Vegas but I think everyone has different experiences.

    1. The Buffalo Jump has recently reopened (have not danced here, don't know anyone who has but heard from before and now that it is slow and not necessarily dancer friendly because it is in a Sports Bar/the owners).

    2. Teasers is very popular and they have top notch talent, including pornstars. Only issue I had was you have to give the manager (Buddah) a lap dance as an "audition" to work there. Gross, no thank you. They are very friendly to travel dancers.

    3. The Fox Club/Fred's are booked through the same company, as well as the Beaver's Den in Helena, which is in a Saloon/Bar (similar setup to the Jump) and I have heard The Fox Club is similar to Teasers, top notch talent, even pornstars, very busy and they expect good pole skills. The booker said Fred's is less picky as far as the talent aspect so maybe more newbie friendly, accept ladies who are curvier, but heard it is slow and didn't see any customers both times I went in so I decided to pass. The booker also said that the Beaver's Den was a "disaster" in regards to how the customers treated the dancers/not having strip club etiquette. So, for the booker to say that it turned me off but haven't had a chance to come across anyone who has danced here.

    4. Sagebrush Sam's in Butte, MT is the like a hidden gem. They have girls who have danced at bigger clubs/cities like Denver and Vegas, and this was the only club I experienced where the girls were actually NICE and FRIENDLY. They literally helped me a lot (I did mostly offstage in Vegas so my pole skills are pretty limited, and obviously the environment is definitely more cutthroat) so I was surprised. I did make okay money here, considering much of the money is made onstage, although they do have private booths that you set your own prices for based on the time. They are very much that you are an independent contractor, there are no bouncers so maybe 2 or 3 people to tip out at the end of the night (bartender(s) and DJ). The DJ's were great too, played all the music you requested, and nice. The owner Sam and her daughter, I forget her name run it and you would be surprised, you can do really well here. Mostly truckers but they spend money, and other people traveling along the interstate. The ladies were very nice and beautiful here and I would recommend it to anyone.

    5. Don't know anything personally about Planet Lockwood, had spoke with Pierre (unsure if he is still the owner) and got a weird/creepy vibe, idk, just haven't heard they are very friendly to travelers but again haven't danced here, or confirmed that with any dancers just online/facebook and guys/gals in Montana (customers) talk about it being a total dive, but there's sometimes money to be made in those places too....

    8. WOC/Tattoos-very tattoo friendly all of the ladies I have seen (I visited Teasers but wasn't about to give some guy a lap dance in his office as an "audition", but to each their own) and also at Sagebrush Sam's and when I have visited the Playground (still called the Playground but there is a bar next to it called something else) everyone had tats, nobody really cares about the tats in MT-they kind of associate it with dancers, as being of the norm although I know some clubs in Vegas and I heard other places don't really like them. WOC-I can't really answer this question, the dancer I know in GF/Playground says she does good and she has a cute, tight gymnast type of body so I think like it was mentioned before, some places would be different-but Sagebrush Sam's would definitely be friendly and have good customers that would love some variety!

    7. The Playground-know two dancers who work here regularly, and even a few that travel to Vegas that I have spoke with, it's your average hole-in-the-wall dive bar type of situation but there is an Airforce base in Great Falls so I heard the money can be good sometimes, but for them they said it wasn't a good club to stay at and dance, they had to travel to other clubs in MT to make money.

    8. Overall, The Fox Club has a great reputation and Sam's in Butte I know is great because I have danced there so that would be my input (also, it's not a "dive bar" and is definitely travel dancer friendly) as well as Teasers if you don't mind their audition process...

I am actually new to Stripperweb, I just was trying to Google and see what I could find to connect with other dancers since recently coming back to Montana. I had tried to put up an ad for a dance buddy/travel partner on a classified ad website and got nothing but dudes pretending to be females. I didn't want to just throw in my question without answering the above, since I was born and raised here and have some experience with/familiarity with the clubs here but was hoping to find a traveling partner that would like to go to the different clubs around MT this summer since I just moved back from Vegas. I hope I am not putting this in the wrong place, but if you are interested or looking for someone to travel with I would love a buddy if you would like to message me, and I hope the info helps.

You are probably better off meeting dancer friends on this site vs through Classified adds

I can't say that has been my experience thus far. After messaging several girls who publicly posted to message them about traveling/a dance buddy I have had zero response. I am not surprised though bc I have done this long enough which is why I usually stick to myself. I have found some great info and articles here though and genuinely like to help others so it's not a total waste.

    Welcome to the site!

I have met a couple nice girls through here.

I can add to this- MT is a bit of pricey destination (tourism economy) so camping out in your car and budgeting might be a good thing to do in addition to traveling in pairs or groups.

MT can be good money, the state is short on excitement of the stripper variety for different reasons. I love the Rockies and made a decent living there.
