Default Why do strippers try harder on some guys than others?

I don’t know if a girl not trying as hard on me is a good thing or a bad thing , whether it’s a night I get dances from the girl I’m a regular of or not, I noticed guys she doesn’t even sell dances to in the end she spends significant amount of time talking to, there was even a time after she didn’t sell a dance, she just came and sat next to me and we were talking, she didn’t bring up if I wanted a dance
Although there’s a lot of new faces every time I go so do you just try harder with newbies?

She probably was having a tough night sales-wise and wanted to talk to someone she felt comfortable bullshitting with to take some pressure off herself.

Trying to understand a dancers motivations from a seat at the bar is virtually impossible, and one of the reasons this sub forum exists

If a dancer chooses to sit and chat for no reason, take it as a compliment that sees you as 'not a freak' or at the least, 'less of a freak than anyone else sitting at the bar right now and all the other dancers here are annoying the shit out of me'

Although I have had many 'work friend' relationships with dancers, it is, in the end about money, this is work. IF a dancer sits and chats and you cannot at least buy her a drink, drop a tip, or maybe, if you do regularly get dances from her, promise on the way out that you will get dances from her next time[and follow through]

I find many of the younger less experienced dancers waste a lot of time on younger guys that don't apparently make them any money.

    Shrug

I have learned to be direct when I am interested in getting dances from a particular girl. I have recently had to remind myself that it took some significant spending over time to get the instant attention that I received from several of my favorites.

You're seriously overthinking it. Just enjoy the show and accept that it is what it is - purely transactional.

It was either a tough night, as lurkingtitties mentioned or a situation like oldster discussed. I've noticed some newbie dancers being more tolerant of guys wasting their time talking without tipping or buying any dances from them. It could be that combined with she was hoping that you would tip her or ask for a dance. I'm going to go with the more likely answer that she was new and doesn't realize that she has to ask the guys for dances or try to get a tip and move on if they're not interested or else sit there and make no money.

Just because you don't see a particular dancer getting paid, doesn't mean it's not happening.

I have done 'unofficial' VIPs which were essentially just a block of chatting on the floor, usually moved to a table off to the side, by customers who wanted their money going all to me instead of to the club. I have also had a couple of guys over the years slip me money just to sit and make them look busy in order to avoid an annoying dancer. They are typically very discrete as they don't want to draw attention from club staff or other dancers who might want in on their money. So there is also this possibility along with the other already mentioned.

If I feel chemistry with a guy, I'd definitely stick to him and hope that my attraction to him will effect him so that he likes me too and he'll buy dances.

If it's really slow I'll sit with a guy whether or not he's buying dances because what else am I doing anyways? Or sometimes it's just because I need a break. It's physically exhausting to be dancing the whole night. Sometimes talking for however long is my version of trying not to hide in the changing room for a break so I still look busy

    Yup. What she said.

Just ask her how does it work in there, see her options and go from there.... stop comparing, relax, and enjoy the moment.

Over the years, I've learned that there is an endless number of reasons why a girl sits with some guys and not others, or chooses not to sit with anyone at all. They could be commercial, personal or some combination of the two. What we see happening is often only the tip of the submerged iceberg. We don't know what's going on with her or her experiences with other customers in the club. I've seen seasoned club hounds on a customer site go on forever speculating on this stuff because there are just too many possibilities to catalog.

That is a long wined way of saying that chewing on this is a pointless exercise, which is why I never do it. I just focus on the girl in front of me and if the situation isn't working out for me, I move on.

Target customers that fit my criteria are the ones I spend more time on and as well having to sense his tone of voice, demeanor, and sensing a little eagerness.
