Yes! I use a softbox with a pink sheer curtain draped over it (because i look like Death without it) and the lighting does make me feel sick if I'm on over 2 hours.

You know what I just realized? I cam day shift & have the blinds open which, I think, diffuses the bright studio light.

If I was camming at night perhaps the lights would really affect me.

I would love to get some tips on how to get meditation right. I know it's normal for your mind to wander during it but mine is soooo anxious right now. Between the warmer weather and the stress of making money lately, it's flaring up my MS symptoms which then triggers my anxiety which then can lead to panic attacks and while all this is going on, I'm trying to look happy and interactive on cam Lol

I really think meditation would help but how do you relax with it instead of constantly thinking "is this working yet?' "why isn't this working?" while I'm doing it.

    ^^Really good question.

You know, I've been meditating for almost 2 years daily and I STILL have to refocus attention as my mind will wander. And this is so normal for anyone trying meditation for the first month. It makes it a bit more difficult when you're stressed however, but it happens to everyone

I have to suggest Deepak Chopra's 21 Day Abundance Meditation Challenge as it's the easiest to implement. The intro allows you time to relax and ready yourself for what is only about 5 min of pure meditation. When starting out, 5 min is more than enough. It's tough to sit through 20 min of meditation when you're green.

Here is the playlist for the whole challenge:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qUYR...yDlO4iqwGmMBuA

Also, remember to be kind to yourself. When your mind wanders, acknowledge the fact that you have even caught yourself which is actually a good thing, then gently guide yourself back to the meditation object. It's ok for the mind to wander...it's meant to do that. Meditation is no easy task although many seem to think it is. It takes focus and attention which can be really difficult when you're anxious. So just be super kind to yourself.

The first month WILL be a struggle. I NEVER thought I'd be where I'm at today as I'm wired for high anxiety and my mind was like a wild monkey swinging from thought to thought in the beginning. AND sometimes I'd fall asleep if I wasn't anxious which felt like a total failure.

It takes patience, self-kindness, and practice. You'll get it. Be kind and it'll all happen faster than you think.

Yah, when I would go in the living room, I would be okay but for the most part I like to be in the bedroom and I put up heavy sheets over my windows to block out everything. Not sure why I'm so paranoid but I am so all I have for lights is the studio lights. My overhead light is just to yellow/orange. So I have two pointing at me. One from behind my camera and other other coming in from the side.

If anyone can do it, you can.
I'm already 15 hours in. Not because of the contest, but because I have a huge bill, besides rent that is due next week.

    Update:

    Hydration: 80 oz

Food: 2 bananas, 1 can sardines in Louisiana hot sauce, half large avocado, 3 kosher dill pickles, and 2 tablespoons of avocado ranch dressing.

Meditated, but it was tough. I'm pretty upset with how to bonus week is going.

    Update:

60 oz water and veggie straws as a snack. Getting ready for dinner. I've got 1.5 hrs left to stream. Gonna drink my Powerade in a bit. Gotta keep the hydration up.

It's been slow going, but I'm keeping my vibe up. Will grab Powerade in about 5 min.

I try to get my b vitamins from food, but I don't always. They're so important. Yeah, I try to take a break after three hrs, sometimes two. But, yes, breaks are so important.

Thanks for the well wishes, but sadly it's not working.
I used an entire THC patch, took 2 THC mints...... Nothing. No pain relief whatsoever.
Just made my tummy upset, made me sleepy. I layed down, and woke up with a headache.
I refilled my prescription for 800 mg of ibuprofen, and rubbed on some icy hot. Took my pain away instantly.
I'm going to return the THC today, and hopefully get a refund.
Edit to add: I bought some vitamin B12 sublingual tabs at Trader Joe's. I stopped taking them a couple of months ago. I think they make a huge difference in my mood, and energy levels.

^^Oh man, that's a bit frustrating. So many ppl have great things to say about CBD and THC. Perhaps it's the grade that store provides? Some places have cheaper quality. But then again...with a stronger does you'd at least notice a difference even with something of less potency.

I hear you on the B-12. I used to have the drops when I was a full time Spinning instructor. I taught on the bike up to 15 classes a week. In addition to eating right, hydrating, and sleeping well the drops really helped with energy levels and overall wellness.

It's interesting you both mention vitamins as I haven't taken multivitamins for about 3 months and I've noticed, even eating right, that I have less energy. I seem to tire easily even after just a 6 hr cam shift with 2 days off.

I've been meaning to get new vitamins. Thanks for bringing that up.

But yeah, I'd get a refund.

^^Right. I know better. I IM fast as well. I bet, if I were taking my vitamins, I wouldn't have hit that rough spot so hard after camming 99 hrs in that 2 week period.

Yeah, the reminder comes at a timely manner.

Feeling slightly depressed. I severely injured my foot last Saturday & cannot cam. I'm a foot girl & no feet means no money.

As a result I've been eating right, hydrating optimally, & resting. Despite self care, the hit to my pocket has me feeling a bit depressed today.

In an attempt to raise vibration I engaged in a long Chakra balancing mediation session. I feel calm & content now.

^^Phew! While that's terrible to hear, I do feel some relief. Sister...I am trying to keep my vibration up. I have been doing a lot of research however, and I think, when I return, I'll have some renewed energy.

I'm still falling to sleep to positive affirmations which seems to keep me from falling off the deep end, but I have a new meditation routine I'll be engaging in starting tomorrow.

I appreciate you reaching out to let me know. I'm sorry I missed your post. I've been on and off. I'm falling behind a bit.

What exactly did you do to it? You're sure there's no way to work around it? Is it because it looks bad or because it hurts? I do a lot of foot fetish and shoe fetish stuff and because of how my set-up is I'm always sitting when I show my feet, so there's ways to avoid standing or walking around on a bad foot. Most of my foot shows involve guys who like the soles; I worked for a while with a huge gash on the bottom of one foot and still did all my sole shows by playing with angles and focusing on the good foot.

^^Good question. I think I sprained the big toe on my right foot. It's terribly swollen. I cannot curl or spread my toes which is something I do in my most popular shows. I guess I could just do sole shows. I mean, who knows. My foot isn't a bear claw any longer...while still swollen, it is presentable. I just can't really move the toes at all. I might be more worried than I need to be. I just can't manipulate it the way I always have which has earned me the most money.

I can try to cam tomorrow despite it, then post an update

Maybe try filming it and talking about the injury? It might sound crazy but guys like some of the strangest clips I've filmed, and I know there is a fetish for casts and crutches. Hopefully it can at least be something that keeps making money for you that way.
