Dizzy Average Camming Hours and Placement

    Hello Ladies!

I cam on Streamate and cam an average of 8 hours per day and take two days off a week. I average around 40 hours a week (or more depending on how good or bad business is). I was wondering what is your average cam shift/work week like? Have you noticed if the amount of hours does affect your cam placement that drastically? I know they mention that it does affect it on the 'My Rankings' page but does it really? I was gone for a month and when I came back, my placement was the same On 'My Ranking' page, it says I am HD and 'Excellent' in all the specifications.

Do we have to be like clock work (like a regular 9-5 job to the exact hour, etc) and that's how we increase our placement? I'm trying to increase my placement so I can have a better chance at more income. Are the amount of customers who add us to their favorite's a factor? Is the amount of how many customers we block a factor? Are offering/performing Gold Shows a factor?

Thanks for reading this ladies - I apologize if this thread has been posted before and hope you're all having a good week even though it's been absolute crap for traffic!

I think the placement issue is that it depends on a variety of things, not just the time online. You need to bring in money for the site during those hours. Otherwise one could just run the cam while you were running around your house.

In the 9 years I have been doing this, I think placement algo part they do not tell us about is ability to convert to sales. From my own experiments that is a big factor but everything has to balance.

Sales conversion, time online to be able to convert sales (doesn't matter when as long as you are converting to sales. Some folks find being consistent time slots helps convert), stream health, which leads to the lighting because that does causes stream health issues, your equipment (can your equipment handle a bigger stream/more people in your room to put in simple terms), and ranking.
I KNOW there is more to it, but this is a good start.

$$$$ is biggest factor in placement, my hours online do not affect my placement, my income does
the more $ the higher the placement

off course, the longer you market yourself properly and work you room and up your game the more $ you will get and your placement will follow
Experience makes more income, if you upgrade you hustle and create a bigger and bigger fanbase
so being online= more money...... if you will keep working it

I agree with JackAlexander ; being 8 hours online or 10 or even 20 should not be the goal. The goal should be making sales as many as you can, creating a satisfied customerbase , repeat costumers, and binding them to you, so you will stack existing custies on top of new ones. Sales sales sales. Time spend online is just creating more openings to get a better salestechnique

Increasing your placement for more income is thinking the wrong way around.
work with what you got. We all start at the bottom and work the way up. Every top model has been at bottom, noone starts or comes at top magically

this is what matters; good lighting, good angels with camera, eye contact, getting regs, getting more and more $ a hour, doing a good freechat; as in working your room

focus on you and on your hustle, focus on your sales, focus on your skills, focus and exspanding your skills, focus on reading and listening to seminars about sales, try to invest in getting to know your customers and your niche, figure out when the best time is for you to get online and which are the best days

you know you are doing good when the potential custies come dripping in your room and are getting stacked up and numbers doesnt go down but gets up instead. be interested, be engaged, treat freechat as your huntingsground; it is the place where you convert sales <3
when I was new I was engaging them in every way possible, it is hard work, very hard, but on top it doesnt get easier, it might look that way, but when we rest and not stay n top of our game, someone else will and gladly take those custies and that $$ while at it. Prepare for the top, bec when you do, you will have to stay on top of hustle every second

based on criteria such as earnings, member engagement, use of additional revenue streams, and how the model employs social media to bring in new members.

This was posted from cams dot com. of their model of the year promotion.

I beleive that criteria works on all sites.

Flirt4free has a more intense details stats of what they look for in a top performer so I really enjoy their model guide to tell me where I stand. I figure if I can rank top on that site I can get back on top on any site.

Streamte list what they are looking for so follow it. Hours helps because if you are not consistent your customers will never know when to see you.

Just like any business hours. you need to know your business operations system.

So treat it like a business more than a job as with a business you have a higher criteria list to meet to stay succesful.

My criteria list I've started to follolw based on reading the book Cash machine for life by Loral Langemeier has definitely keep me on target to always know where I stand and what i need to reach for.

I’m not sure if it still matters, but they used to say your equipment had a factor in placement. An i7 processor will place higher than an i3. I use an i3 and still rank middle of page 1. I average 20 hours a week and sometimes less a week.

Pretty much completely agree with you. For hours on, its quality over quantity. Once you've managed to hook someone, make sure you can keep them with varying things up be it role play, your set, makeup, hair, etc. Change up descriptions. Study your section and learn from the mistakes you see others make. The customer is always right, at the end of the day your like a product on the shelf and free chat is like the packaging of the product to entice them in to finally buy it. You are your brand.

my old computer was an i3 equivalent and my newer last year model computers are an i5 or i7 equivalent, basically, I've noticed the newer model the computer the better the performance.

and also having the faster USB ports 3.0 is better than the older versions.

Then once your computer is newer the wifi and ethernet cable operate faster as well, as long your internet service is a newer version.

I just switched my internet to fibre optics so I have almost no lag at all. so now when someone is in my room and is having problems it really is them.

Mobile trying to get on wifi tend to drop out of my room a lot more than someone on a desktop or laptop.

I tend to buy computers that are last year model, or last year model refurbished.

definitely won't drop to a lower grade internet service with the results I've been seeing.

next upgrade is logitech conference cameras with remote controls.
