The first two links outline atrocious exploitation of North Korean women and it has been going on for a very long time. Worse, it happens to women in many other poverty ravaged countries and it is beyond tragic. It is a humanitarian crisis with no easy answers.

The fourth link involves a pedophile who preyed on a 15 year old girl. I think that he should have his nuts cut off. But I am also disgusted by the mother who allowed her daughter to be alone with this guy on an extended flight far away from home. What the fuck was she thinking? Also, this girl had apparently been alone with this guy multiple times before, including in his home, and had sexual contact with her. He was also communicating with the 15 year old on Snapchat. Net-net the parenting really broke down here.

As far as the third link, idk. What has happened to them is also horrible, but the government cannot be responsible for their subsequent choices to go back to abusing substances or willingly returning to destructive relationships. The UK provides them with 45 days of transitional assistance, which is more that they would get here in the U.S. At some point, a grown woman has to stand on her own two feet and choose to make the most of her opportunities.

    Thanks for providing these!

    Thanks.
I also agree, about the mother..

Years ago, w/the Roman Polanski thing, I believe he was wrong.
But, the girl's (@ the time, she's an adult now) mother should have never let her go off alone w/him. I read that she asked to come along, & RP said she might disrupt the photo shoot.
My Mom would NEVER allow me to do that.
Anyway it against the law to be with a minor, whether she consented or not

    Anyway.

The last link I am going to respond to later

I think it is against the law to have sex with a minor, not to "be with" a minor.
