There's a girl at my club (in Canada) who has a website where she advertises her services OTC. Would this be grounds for firing or is this legal?

Don't know about Canada, but this would certainly be legal to fire her in the U.S.A. And, I think she should be fired. Strippers don't hook, and Hookers don't strip.

If she is advertising her OTC shit in any way that links her to the club, she deserves to get fired. Hookers and johns don't belong in strip clubs, for one thing, even in areas where prostitution is legal. Along with that, she is not only drawing business away from the club, she risks bringing in an increase in the wrong kind of customers. Stripping is tough enough as it is without being subjected to additional bullshit courtesy of double-dipping coworkers.
I was reading that in Canada it is legal to sell sexual services but not to purchase them. Even with that knowledge I can't imagine the club owners being happy about a girl who is drawing away customers.

I’ve seen it happen. Really anything outside of the club you should keep to yourself. Legally can they fire you? Who knows. Their roster can all of a sudden be full or whatever BS reason. Personally I have friends that are sex workers as well as strippers and they were very respectful of not taking club customers. I suppose if didn’t effect the club or any other the girls no would care what you do off duty so long as it’s not effecting the club. I’ve thought of doing camming and phone sex and probably will not advertise that at work. As much as I want to, probably better just to keep them separate and avoid drama.

she is a contractor, not an employee....they don't need to give her a reason, all they need to say is "we don't want you working at OUR club anymore"
of course its legal,
they can tell you to leave because they dont like your hair color,
they are ALLOWING YOU to work in THEIR CLUB, it's their choice, you don't have a RIGHT to work there
They can and probably will fire her simply for "stealing" customers from the club. I think prostitution is legal in Canada but she could be fired if she's advertising where she works and possibly taking guys OTC after work.
This club doesn't make money off dances or champagne rooms. Only alcohol. Entrance fee is very cheap, sometimes free. Wonder if they'd even care.
Yes, she can be fired for that. She can be fired for really ANY reason though.

If the club us an extras hub or you're tipping the right people it won't matter

You can do your camming be your own boss I quited a supervisor job in a restaurant and am free and independent.
If you want freedom sign up and forget about being broke.
As an independent contractor, they can fire someone for any reason. They don't have to let you work even if they just don't feel like it.
Even if selling sexual services is legal in Canada, the club might not want to be associated with that sort of business. The last thing they want is unwanted attention toward a possible sting if that's a possibility there. If she wanted to do both, she should have had separate names, separate social media, and kept everything completely different from each other, and kept her mouth shut in the club. I mean, sucks to be her, but honestly, she should have known better.
Don't try to win over the haters. You are not the Jerk Whisperer.
Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you.
I guess in Canada to work as an independent sex worker that uses private communication for such purposes (telephone, internet, e-mail, etc.) is totally legal.
