Default Are there patrons you interact with for a reason other than money?

    Especially when it’s slow.

There is this one customer at this one club. He has an arrogant personality and I can’t do floor dances for him. The last time we tried he was doing out there stuff...and let’s just say he’s a solid no go for me.

But holy cow does he give good backrubs. I tend to get tense in my neck/shoulder area especially. Idk how he does it but he has an uncanny ability to hone in on knots. So despite his nonsense with dances, a couple of weeks ago I was okay with hanging out with him for a little bit and accepting my shoulder rub. At least until I made eye contact with a customer who looked like he may want a dance. Then I thanked him and left.

Does anybody else have a person they interact with that’s out of proportion to his money value? Not necessarily massages, can be anything.

A few. Just to get an energy drink or some alcoholic beverage out of them when I want one. At times, I ask for a meal. But usually, that's for paying regulars that I spend time on them. Only like 2-3 club regulars, the ones that never do dances, I talk to for over 5 minutes when I'm on standby waiting to get approach by paying customers.

Nope! My time is money and I feel like its not a good look to be spending time on customers without monetary compensation.

This specific kind of interaction I always avoided. When I was a newbie a seasoned dancer explained to me that I should never let customers touch me for free and that backrubs are a way they will sneakily try to get away with it. No shade to anyone who does this with the non-spending regulars but that was never my cup of tea.

I would sometimes bum a smoke from customers or let them buy me a drink when it's slow but as soon as they started getting touchy-feely I'd take my drink and walk away.

Understandable. I know full well what he’s doing. But since he actually focuses on where the knots are and avoids roaming his hands to non-relevant areas while he’s doing that, and he’s actually skilled at it (as in, he could probably open up his own massage therapy practice if he wanted to) I cut this individual slack.

Probably a sign I should just pony up for a Massage Envy membership. :p

We have a 'massage guy' too, my friend forced me into one once. Yeah it felt good but I wasn't too pleased about it & was glad I got called to stage 5 minutes in so I didn't waste TOO much time.

There's one club regular I will sit with who doesn't spend much anymore... But he's a sweet guy and will happily buy everyone drinks. He also frequently tips me $20 after my stage sets and slips me $20s randomly otherwise, so it's not a total waste of time. He usually leaves by midnight, when the real money starts flowing.

We have a lot of the barflies who will buy girls drinks all night and maybe throw them $10 on stage, but never buy dances. I avoid them and have made them think I'm a bitch so they won't try to bother me.

It's recently been suggested that the club would make a lot more money if they made it policy that girls can only drink in rooms because of these customers... I agree.

Might chit chat for a minute or two. Or maybe a few more on occasion, but that’s pretty much the extent of it. I’m there to do a job, first, last, and always.

Would try not to or make it rare occasions cause it might become a habit 1 (don’t want to get too comfortable knowing the feeling of spending time with non spenders) and two men are watching you! When they see you spend time with a non spender then it manes it seem to them like you’re less valuable and then they have no desire to Spend on you. If they see you hustling, moving around, effectively working the floor, then they get curious about you and want to spend money with you.

Even when it is slow you have to still appear as though you have something going on.

I have only seen this customer twice. And I think he’s honed in on the absolute slowest times cause both times it was super dead when I saw him. Second time I saw him I think I interacted with him maybe 5-10 minutes? That was until like I said I made eye contact with another person and walked off. And did sell a dance to that guy.

But you’re right and I think a third time I possibly see him (which will be a while cause I travel) I won’t even bother. And I think this a sign to stop being cheap and start scheduling massages from actual professionals biweekly.

Yeah some of these guys intentionally come in on slow nights, figuring they're more likely to get a girl allowing this when they have nobody to hustle anyway. Same with regulars who are getting too chummy, they come in when it's slow to 'hang out' and get to see the girl but not spend any money.
I find it vaguely predatory and it would turn me off interacting with them any further.

PS, Massage Envy will do a way better job than some rando at the club

Nope. The only reason I go to work is to make money. Interacting with a customer for any other reason would be a waste of time and distracting from my goal. I worked at a club with this creepy guy who would come in every single day and buy drinks and occasionally order pizza and share with the other girls, and some girls would flock to him for the free food. I would ignore him. I don't want to make the club an inviting atmosphere for those who don't buy dances/rooms/or even tip.

ugh, there's way too many of those at my club. and a lot of the (ugly - sorry but true) girls entertain them for free. if you reward behavior, it gets repeated.

No just out of principle even if I'm not busy I will not just sit for free. I don't want other customers seeing me just hanging out with everybody and thinking I'm gonna do the same for them. I'm there for MONEY. I don't want a back rub, a drink, or to share their food with them, or whatever else they're trying to offer me.

    ^ I'm down with that.

It's effing annoying to see a lot of girls just chatting, kicking it, laughing, drinking, and eating with for like 30 minutes or so on guys who never spend on our services. It just creates a nightclub atmosphere of sitting-duck men wanting to get your personal contact that influences paying customers to not spend and be part of the "cool club" when they see it. I already sense it in my new regular who wants to extend time chatting, dodging my sales approach, and cutting spending.

Point taken. All future interactions (if that even happens) I shall go away. Sadly I forgot what he looks like. But the hands will remind me, lol

I agree. I remember there was this bad night, and I was tired. So I just sit down, next to this guy. And we started talking, and then, he told me he didn't have anything to give me. I was too tired to move, though. When I was ready to move, I started to talk to another guy that was sitting across from us. And he started saying he wanted to take me out, and wanted my contact information. So I requested a tip, being that he was so interested And wanted to take me out, he wouldn't have a problem spending something here. He said, "No," and refused to having a VIP or dance, too. I got up. He must've thought I was going to sit there with him without him investing anything on me after he mentioned all that other shit, lies. I swear dude be playing games. What do I look like giving you my phone number, after you say you want to take me out and you can't even pay for a dance or tip me?

With the club regulars that say they never do a dance, he'll buy one in the long run as a "payment" for talking to him once in a while. Just don't spend too much time on them.

    I love the massage guys!

Not everyone can offer $, but everyone offers you an experience to become a better saleswoman. I would rather keep my hustle going by talking to a man who I already know won't buy - just to practice, joke with them, learn about their industry, get better at reading men, say hi, etc. - than I would sit alone on my phone. All of those things will net you $ in the future, and all have gotten me dances from people who came back and remembered me.

Think of your club like your personal business. Greet people as they walk by, introduce yourself even if you are busy, make people feel welcome! No one does this! When I started treating men with true customer service, my income tripled.
