Default Idk if it’s my imagination, but management sticking it to you=sign of dipping?

It seems when the money is flowing and many girls are doing well, then managers tend to be more chill and less nit picky with minor things and not as apt to nickel and dime dancers on things like fines for xyz or expected tip out. Nor raise cost to work expectations either.

It seems like when dancers are making less for whatever reason, whether it’s a temporary or longer term dip, THAT is when they are “just being professional and enforcing and that’s what we do here” This can happen to customers as well but dancers seem to get hit harder on this.

I’m thinking of three clubs at different times in particular. I’m wondering whether that’s just me or if it’s an actual observation I’m making.

When dancers do well , it means sales in general are doing well, in which case Managers typically can earn bonuses if they hit a certain mark. Owners like having to pay a bonus because it mean a healthy bottom line

True. I’ve wandered at why would they want to risk ticking off so many girls by making it more expensive to work when there is less money going around. But now that I think about it, at the end of the day it’s a high turnover industry so it doesn’t really matter.

If numbers are down, the owners tend to ride the managers a lot more.

A good manager can deal with this without riding everyone else in turn. Sadly, many of the 'not so good' managers simply pass the buck, or rather 'take the bucks' in a more strict fashion, as well as being dicks in general.
