I work in Chicago and it's been scary slow. Like, consistently going home on Friday and Saturday nights with 0-$100 kinda slow. It's been like this all summer!
Is it slow everywhere or just here?

Came on here to ask the same thing! Arizona is hell during the summer and I’m hoping to escape somewhere

It’s slow everywhere. Ugh, it seems it’s more worthwhile to just bartend. To the OP, the shot girls and bartenders at gold club got to making more money than the non sex worker strippers. I did well at admiral when there were cubs games.
Girl I’ve heard from everyone is slow AF.
My friend in Miami said she made $100!
Unless your sucking and fucking it doesn’t seem a dancer can make a living.

It’s slow in nyc too. I used to work 2 days now I’m working 5 days and still bringing in less. But the summer doesn’t last long
Generally speaking, summer is less profitable everywhere. There are some places where you can avoid averaging the $0-$300 lower end mark like a few places (I suppose Miami...? ) gets. And a few places that attract tourists and can have occasional large money.
Chicago has traditionally been that place, from what I’ve read, but I guess this year is a fluke...? Or perhaps ask around about other clubs in the city?
If you travel—best to be primarily motivated by fun with the side benefit of maybe slightly better money.
If you’re home—maybe now is the time to start building another hustle. Or get a part time job. Or reflect on goals. Or take that flight deal and go somewhere exotic. Or find a hobby or...

I worked a week at a city not too far from a beach. I made slightly more than I would make at my home club where I was making very little in the summer, although it was not very profitable considering my travel costs, I had a nice working vacation.

Dude, I hear this every season. Oh it’s cold, it’ll be better in the spring. Or whatever. We need to get real and just admit the money isn’t what it use to be and never will be. Keep hustling, but I am the carnary in the coal mine telling you to keep hustling and figure out another hustle or skill. Because it’s not getting any better-this industry is dying. I swear I hear all this hype that things will get better and it never gets better.

The standards for getting into the industry have been lowered. The guys are now hanging out at strips clubs like it's a regular bar and do not pay much attention to half naked women. They walk around with a beer in their hand talking to their buddies, no pressure to spend on women. By paying the entrance fee they feel entitled to watching stage shows. I see dancers hanging out with guys for a cost of a drink🙄.
Some things we cannot change, like the general direction of the economy but we can all raise the bar by acting like professional entertainers and not being stupid to allow some men to waste our time during our work shifts.
Bump. My friend who doesn’t do extras and works at a clean club (we worked together so I can vouch for this) consistently makes around $2,000 a week working 4-5 nights.

Not gonna say the name of the club but in Connecticut. The only reason I am not working with her is because I am 9 months pregnant lol. She’s an AMAZING hustler and upseller though.

Congratulations on your pregnancy! And thank you for sharing. I am glad someone out there is doing well. Hustling skills are important but it's also a matter of having the abundance of dudes with discretionary income visit the club you work at because I am seeing nights where there are people in the club but noone is spending.

I'm also located in Chicago, and yes, it's painstakingly slow. The bouncers tell me that it picks up more in the fall/winter so fingers crossed, but I also have a part-time job that makes sure my bills get paid. Have also heard that the Midwest is not a good place for money, but I'm learning to just appreciate the money that I get on the weekends.
Have you all read the BBC article about American clubs dying and millennials just not enjoying the strip club? I've been watching and reading a lot of takes on it, and many dancers say that the baby boomers were carrying the strip club and now the younger guys are not picking it back up. However, the economy is also just not the same. Now if you were to go to ATL, the club environment has not changed and folks know what to do when they come

Dealing with customers wh do not to be "educated" on why they should be spending on dancers is certainly easier than dealing with dudes who are determined to sip on their one beer all night long and looking at the show for free.

It's a known fact that summer(especially July/August) everywhere are the slowest months. These are the best months to take a break or go on vacation somewhere.
It's been SUPER intense where I'm at. Girls going home crying or acting like mega cunts bc of the stress level. O_o All fighting for that one spender. Then you got the club hiring a shit ton of more girls during slow season. These clubs don't give a fuck.
Even if I have a decent night, I'm coming out of work soaking all of that bad energy. Lawd Geezus where is the sage....

Yes! Albuquerque NM has been hell on Earth. Overrun with girls since we're all struggling and the customers have been getting worse since they know money is tight and they have their pick of the lot. Im hoping once things cool off people will want to come out and spend.

Doing vanilla part time work helps during slow times at the club. Worst thing is when girls feel desperate and start doing things they would not do under different circumstances.

Vegas. yup.
❤️
Very slow in Jacksonville FL. Pushing through it though. Thank goodness my bills don’t rely on dancing, or else I’d really be unhappy.
I’ve been making at least $600 a night after tip out in nyc and I only work weekends at a club where it’s better to work the week days. This is a new club I’ve been working at and some guy spent $1500 on our time together yet I only made $500 not counting how much I made off of tips. This club is sucking me dry with all the fees.... I need another city asap

Summer can be a hidden goldmine IF you strategize and sacrifice a little
When Bubbles n them laid out at the pool, when Bob is lonely at random time in the day (consider working a variety of shifts) that’s when it’s easy to clean up.
And like mentioned above. ALWAYS keep you an extra line of income besides the club
