Default Dancing when you’re pregnant/ avoid showing

Soooo this happened... it’s extremely early but NOT expected so it’s throwing a wrench in my plans to work the good season...

i REALLY. Want to work until December if possible but that would make me like 26 weeks... I remember my last pregnancy (which I didn’t dance at all) that at 25 weeks it was noticeable but I think if my memory serves me right that, if I wear a one piece, I should be fine?

I've danced with pently of girls who were pregnant. Most seem to go up to 6 months before they hang up the heels for a little bit. Some women show more than others, so it depends on your body.
Camming while pregnant is also an option and can be lucrative if you're comfortable with it.

Had a girl in a smaller club work while she was pregnant, she didnt show until nearly 30 weeks and even then she wasnt obviously pregnant. She just changed her outfits to not wearing a corset to a more flowing dress style before she took 6 weeks off, had the baby and came back before we were even expecting her to.

I think she put on maybe 25 pounds over the whole term, and it was all baby, so when she gave birth it was like nothing to be dropped within a few weeks of pole work.

Do what is best for you, and see how things go.

Hey, I'm also currently pregnant but I quit dancing because I feel too nauseous, tired, bloated, and clumsy to dance anymore. If you feel up to dancing then go for it. Yes, you could probably get away with wearing a one piece although it all depends on if you start showing early and how you show. Don't wear anything form fitting or tight now. If you can get away with one piece romper outfits or loose dresses in your club, that'll work. I think dark colored bottoms can help camouflage a bump, too. Every woman's body is different. I knew a girl who danced until 7 months but she didn't really look pregnant at all her entire pregnancy. She had strong tummy muscles and it was her first though. Meanwhile I'm in my first trimester and people are already noticing(it's not my first pregnancy and I have diastasis recti from previous pregnancies so that could be why). Good luck, mama!

thank you everyone! I'm definitely not close to showing yet, but I want to be prepared/able to avoid showing.

my diet is on point, super healthy so I don't gain weight too early (my first one I was a huge cow and ate like crap, lesson learned even though I lost the weight very quickly)

I will definitely stick to dayshift towards the end, somewhere dive where I could just be chubby lol. I was wondering about ab exercises to keep my stomach flat. its extremely flat now because I had lipo, but I generally dont do much abs. so I'm not sure if its a good idea to start now.

aww good luck to you too! so far, I've only been very emotional and tired. usually I use drinking as an energizer and 'deal with guy's bullshit' medicine, which is of course not an option now.

Instead of trying to hide something go on cam - pregnancy fetish is a big $ maker. And wouldn't you rather deal with customers that worship your pregnant body?

I know this is subjective, but I personally don't feel comfortable calming, especially during pregnancy. Hell, the first preggo comment I get at the club is the day I retire forever.

This wasn't planned, and ideally I wouldn't strip pregnant, but I am trying to go as long as I can into our good season. November-December is the goal, but I take it day by day. So far, its working well but I cant be more than 8 weeks. Ill find out next week.

When my friend was prego her doctor told her not to excercise unless she was consistently exercising before. Ask your doc see what they say.
