    Default Auditions

    Hey guys,
So I went to my audition they told me if I wanted to do day shift I can stay but I told them I rather do night shift because I am in school but they told
Me to come back tonight and talk to the night shift manager. Does this mean I kind of have my foot in the door?

Yes, you probably just went too early for night shift.

I would actually say the opposite - not necessarily. Definitely go see the night manager and be super polite & tell him "Hey I was hired for days but I'd really like to work nights if you have room on your shift."

I know it's shitty to say but in a lot of clubs the day shift really is the "B squad" or at least the newbies. He may have told you to come back and see the night manager so that he can decide if you're good enough (in his mind) to be on nights. A lot of managers don't want to step on each other's toes. Some get super irritated to be find girls on their shift that they didn't approve.

There was a manager at my old club who would straight up throw day girls out if they stayed past 8 pm. If he had not explicitly told you that you were hot enough for nights, it was a no-go.

That makes me not even want to go tonight lmao I am so tired of running around She basically said it’s up to you if you want to stay or not. And. I understand I want to do dayshift until I go back to school then I wanted to switch to nightshift

Well if you're able to work days right now, maybe you should do a few of them to get some practice in (and money). Then just stay until shift change and introduce yourself to the night manager.

You're overthinking this. Just go in tomorrow night for nightshift.

They called you for night shift? Go in. They usually put girls on dayshift if they are new or the manager thinks they aren't up to par.. But it could be any reason.

Yes because I called to make sure the manager was there and they told the times then around 11 pm they called back I’m not sure why because I didn’t answer. I was reading their reviews and it said they needed more girls and in one of the reviews it said that the manager usually fires all the pretty girls so we will see. She did kind of come off mean I’m definitely going in tonight

Day shift gets such a bad rep sometimes! Day shift does not mean your B squad. She told you to come back because it is not her shift to hire. There is always a manager on shift at a club, it would be a mad house if the manager did not show. When you go in expect to work, if you happen to still be on day shift time ask if you can work days and nights. Most of the time the managers will not care. Especially if you are easy going and do not cause drama.

Okay thank you! I’m just going to call tonight and tell them I was exhausted which I was And honestly whatever shift I am fine with as long as it doesn’t interfere with school. Im pretty sure you can still make money on dayshift it just seems harder because it look like the women already knew the men

Yes you can make plenty on dayshift, but there are a lot of girls with regulars. I think it's really easy to establish a relationship with customers during dayshift. I usually come in around 3pm and stay until 8 or so and make decent money. I make about the same if not more on dayshift than I did at night, but I have a lot of regs. Just saying this in case you choose to try day

I have worked in the industry for 7 years, the last thing any club manager or any manager in life wants to hear is an excuse. Managers have a lot to do just show up ready to work with a smile on your face.

Men always interested in a new girl, yes they do know the dancers but they will come to know you too. Just be respectful if he says he is there to see someone. Be polite and positive he will remember your face next time your in.

As Kenzie said the swing shift is usually a decent shift where good money can be made. Just let them hire you and find out their policies.

    Good Luck!

Thank you so much. And I figured that’s why I was unsure. Okay so just go straight in and don’t call to make sure the manager not there??
