Default What state did you establish your LLC and why?

I work as a pro-domme and escort. I need something private and easy to establish. Currently reside in NYC. Would love something I can use to rent an incall and pay utilities. It seems like my options are Delaware, Wyoming, and Nevada.

Delaware has a non disclosure policy with its LLC. so the Members are safeguarded from being seen as a part of the LLC. it also works well with Bank of America since they are out of Delaware

I was looking into this myself and have heard that Delaware is the easiest state to establish an LLC in and can be done so quickly. Delaware also safeguards your personal assets and no need to file a Delaware tax return for the LLC if you live outside of Delaware.

actually delaware charges a flat 300 dollars a year to out of state LLC, plus usually a 100 for your in state resident agent which they do require for having an LLC there.

    Ive got one right now.

Nevada is my residence but am interested in starting an llc, would it be easier to open one here or Delaware. I have heard Delaware is better for adult LLCs because of the privacy.

Delaware gives you that extra degree of separation with their privacy laws, but its up to you. As long as the agent gets their 100 and the state gets their 300 they really dont care.

Usually, holding companies are formed in those states (NV, WY, DE) while operating companies are formed in the actual state that they conduct business. The NYC company database doesn't show owner/member details, just the registered agent. If you register in those states, you must register again as a foreign company in the state that you do business, if you don't you can be fined by the state etc. You should consult a lawyer who specialize in these things, one option is to form a trust in NV or AZ, name yourself trustee and let the trust be the owner of the LLC, either way, you must identify yourself/role with the LLC in the company documents. Another option is to hire nominee director/manager. You can discuss this with a lawyer to choose the best option.
