Default JustCamit - High CPU usage

    Hello everyone!

I am having a high CPU usage issue on my notebook when I use JustCamit. Its specifications are: - Processor: Intel Core i5-4219U CPU @ 1.70Ghz 2.40Ghz (3 MB cache, 2 cores) - Memory RAM: 8.00 GB - HD Memory 1 TB - Memory SSD 120 GB - Video: NVIDIA GeForce 830M (2 GB DDR3 dedicated). My webcam is the Logitech C920.
The CPU oscillates from 30% to 60%. I noticed that there is a variation according to the lighting around the webcam. In the JustCamit user guide it is recommended to disable the “righlight" function, but I could notice that when I disable this function the CPU index rises.

    Can anybody help me?

I haven’t got any advice but I’m interested to know if anyone else has as I have two lots of it open and it almost maxes out mine.

I can’t remember if it was any different when I used JCI life on a browser (I think it was the same giving it some thought) but I could never get C2C to work then.

My OS is Windows, so the JustCamit lite is not compatible.

I can stream on 4 sites using the same browser in HD and with good quality, and the CPU does not exceed 40%. The heaviest software has been JCI.

    I have a 15mb upload speed.

You need a more powerful computer, i7 is standard really and a desktop is better than a laptop. Chrome is a massive resource hog so don't have any other windows open while streaming on jci for now. You can use your phone or another pc for that and skype etc. For comparison Mine is usually Around 30% with jci, skype, obs and one browser window open. Jci lite is compatible with Windows, it's mac it doesn't work on. However you can't then cam with people on mobile/tablet.

    Hi sexysusie,

Yes and I think the only solution would be to buy a more powerful computer.
Sorry for my ignorance for saying that JCI is not compatible with windows. The problem is that I do not know how to use, JCI lite does not recognize my webcam. I am doing something that is not correct.

    Thank you!

Justcamit Lite is the browser version, is that right? It's been a long time since I've used it. It may help to enable flash in your browser in order for it to work correctly. And you may also need to give that browser permission to use your webcam and microphone. It's usually a little box that pops up at the top left of your screen.

    Hi PhatGirlDynomite,

Yes, JCI lite is a browser version.
First I tried it on the Chrome browser, I enabled the permissions for Adobe Flash ... connected to the site server, but did not find webcam and microphone. I will check again ...
I tried it on the Edge browser and it worked correctly. Used 6% CPU.

    Thank you!

I will try to know, if C2C works with Lite version.

So, I also couldn't get C2C (JustCamit Lite) to work.
