Default Black dancers making no money in NYC

So I work in a club where there are more Russian girls than black girls.we barely have any black customers that come in there is mostly Russian, Turkish, Albanian, and Hispanic men that come in..there are only 4 black girls in my club and I make 1/4..lately I been noticing the white females selling a whole lot of dances and making a lot of money more than the black females including me. Selling dances is so easy for them but when I try to sell dances it’s like pulling teeth and we always get rejected. I could approach a Latino/white man and ask him for a dance and he will say no thanks or maybe later. 5 minutes later a Russian girl will walk up to him and they will barely talk for 3 minutes and they will be in vip or lap dance room like are you serious? It gets me really mad and frustrated because no offense but the black females look a lot better and are more stylish than the Russian girls in my club but we never sell has much dances and always get rejected. As any other black dancers been experiencing this in there clubs? If so what do you think is the best thing to do in a situation like this?

What you're experiencing is the end result of white supremacy. Where White and non-black women are seen and treated a lot better and perceived to have more value. I've never danced but have worked in the adult industry in other capacities mostly escorting and working as a massage attendant and I got to witness and experience how dark skinned women were overlooked, ignored(or worse shortchanged) by customers. The white girls could literally look like crackheads with bad skin and teeth and still make more money than an undeniably attractive black woman. It sucks and is very frustrating. If you can I'd take a break from dancing and just take it easy as the burnout is very real and then come back rejuvenated.

I'm working in texas and i see the same exact thing. All of my managers and the other dancers constantly tell me that i am one of the best looking girls there, but the customers act like i am not worth shit. most shifts i am the only black girl working and i literally watch men throw piles of money at white and latina girls who are busted and barely even moving on stage and when i go up, no one even comes up to the stage. i hardly ever go home with 1s anymore lol

i make 80% of my money off of black men. it works for me because they usually want a black girl and i am usually the only one, but it does piss me off. occasionally i'll catch a white sugar daddy type, but i find they are hesitant to give me anything that i didnt work for and they always try to get extras too, if they arent outright trying to slip a finger in while my head is turned. ive seen these same guys give a white girl $500 for just having a drink with them.

That’s pretty much how it is I the industry unfortunately. I mostly do t dwell on it, congratulate when necessary and worry about myself. No use in getting pissed anymore and I know it kind of sounds like a defeated mindset but if I worry too much about what the lighter skinned girls are doing, I’m going to miss my own bag. It’s all about small victories, remaining focused on my own goals and laughing at the ones who get ignored by them after they rejected me.

My friend is a dark skinned AA dancer. She is drop dead gorgeous, amazing makeup skills, unique style, models, the whole shebang. She tells me about how guys will get up from the tip rail when she comes on stage! Or the same thing you guys are describing where customers tell her maybe later and then go for rooms with a busted white girl instead. She still does well but it’s a lot more hit and miss for her. And then there is the quotas and hiring BS. It’s so wrong and unfair.

Switch clubs. No need to hang there hoping to change your approach. I believe your assessment of the customers. Move on and watch your money improve.

I took the liberty of checking on your progress. This was your experience last month:

Also what should I do to convince a guy to do a private room with me and what should I do in the private room?
I think you would benefit from learning step by step to properly choose your target, talk and build rapport with your customer, then move him to the highest profit center AKA the VIP room. Take some time in Hustle Hut so you can build your skill set. The more you understand the sales floor you're on 8hrs a night (thought you were at a club, eh?), the better your sales will become.

OAN don't feel bad about the racist clubs -- those owners were racist long before the build a body trend started. DECADES before! It has nothing to do with being augmented. They've been successfully sued for it and they keep doing it.

i have to laugh at everyone saying to switch clubs.... not that it is a bad idea, but i went to every single club in my city twice before even ONE club would hire me. ive been to 2 different cities in texas that i dont live in, spent all day going to different clubs just to hear the same thing over and over.. "we have too many girls." it seems like these clubs have a quota for black dancers and they dont care if anyone knows.

if anyone wants to tell me where a good city/club for black dancers is, i'd very much appreciate the advice. i literally dont care if its only black girls and 3 other girls have the same wig on as me lol

Not every guy likes or prefers unattractive women. Some just will be with unattractive women because they're easier or will give them more attention because normally they don't have a lot of admirers and will be impressive with the attention, giving everything in return.

Some of the most unattractive women in clubs make the most money because they're willing to do more for (that) money or give that illusion. And guys would rather take advantage of this or try their chances with, by giving her attention and seeing how far she would go.

If you just looked like you would ---- their ---- you would get thrown some one's from guys interested in taking you to the VIP to.

Sorry, a lot of guys don't want the classy (looking) stripper or woman, when they're looking for an easy lay or a loose woman.

Also some guys don't know how to treat (more) attractive women. I was dressing down with my sunglasses and long hair and guy went through the door staring at me, sizing me up after he held the door opened for this other woman that was dressed up. I hate that I have to cover myself, and my hair to be treated decently. Otherwise they just glare and act like they don't have any manners.

Not trying to get into it with you but this all sounds like a bunch of excuses. Men are intimidated by beautiful women but they still approach them if they have enough courage or liquor in them. This thread is about the disadvantages of black dancers simply because they are black.
A lot of these guys don't/won't spend money on a dancer because they don't feel like they are worth it.
Another reason is because they feel uncomfortable even interacting with black women in public in fear of peoples' reaction/disapproval
Believe I'm a semi-retired escort (these guys love telling me how much they love black women but have never dated/married or even been seen in public with one)
The other ones that do entertain black women will exploit them at the same time (shortchanging them, expecting extras or making them work harder for less)

#FACTS I overheard a top earner discussing how her high roller drops thousands on her but he hits her as part of their encounters! I can't imagine 5,000 is worth that.

I have been dancing for a long time and that's how it's always been. It seems like the AA girls have to work a lot harder and don't get hired as often, even though they look better. Then there's always a limit on how many they hire or let on per shift.

When I was a model in Miami, I went to Tootsies (the city's premier strip club) for some extra cash on the side. I went once a week for 3 months, day or night shift, and was told the same thing: "We aren't hiring." That's utter bullshit! I knew another model (non-black) who worked there, who showed up in sweats and undone hair, she was hired on the spot just days before. My friend was confused, but we soon figured out that they weren't hiring... black girls (who are darker than cardboard), unless you have a PIMP pay the manager. Even some of the white girls there were hired because their pimp paid for placement in the club. I'm talking a minimum of $1500. So insulting.

I went to a "black" /urban club to dance. There, I had to deal with colorism from men darker than me and fist fights with dancers. Strip club life is messy as hell there. Oh, and if you call the cops after being attacked at "work", you're fined or banned from the club. I danced at a latin club... there were customers who'd pretend not to speak English.

Thank goodness for webcamming!! The racist and colorist guys tend to stay away. Let them flock to the other ladies' rooms. Don't let those people cause you to doubt your own beauty. I've had guys tell me they LOVE to go out places with me because of the attention they get. If those men don't love you, find some who will. We have to world wide web at our disposal.

    Good luck, babe!!

It may depend upon the club and city. I know Houston and Texas and their clubs are notorious for being racist so I wouldn't bother much with knowing that there's more racism to deal with.

It's def harder for AA. The best you can do is know your target customer. Whenever, youre customer comes in treat him like the best thing alive. Be all over him. Exaggerate that shit to the max. The other men are watching. Once your customer leaves all those no's who were watching are now curious, lusty and ready. Go back around and collect your Yes. I make men wish they never said No to me.

Remember people are usually attracted to who they grew up around. It isnt personal. It what they used to. I prefer black men however, I see white men who I think are attractive but I just wont persue them.
